I like it. x3 It's very very simple and I love b&w style.
Hm... I wonder why [ img] doesn't work. It seems to be working for
<-- proboards default image
but not Photobucket images. Hmmm...

But I think you can make the banner have more 'depth'. What program did you use? If you have like Photoshop/Gimp/img editing software, you probably could increase/decrease the contrast. Maybe you can move the cat so that there's more background (the place where the eye is pointing), which could give you a sense of open space and freedom. If the area where her eyes are pointing is limited, it gives you a sense of being 'trapped'.

I also love how the cat's not directly looking at you--it's very natural.
Maybe you could add some special effects... like add a splash of color in there. That's ruining the whole point of b&w, but it does make it look kind of nice. Like this picture:

It's not totally b&w but there's a touch of brown there too.

Believe me, if I could I would. cx I just got my Photoshop program, and I'm not exactly sure which is which. I just found out about a few things, and that's good. But... I'm not totally sure right now, since I just got the program. And this thing at least for me, takes a lot of time to get used to. ><; I'll try though.
