ooc: This post isn't really for anyone to respond to, it's just gonna help me get into character. I mean, anyone is welcome to reply, but they would be in a dream I supose. This is Starclan's ground, or sky if you like. This is like a preparation post for Starclan for the upcoming plot and such. I was really excited to RP Starbreath, so yea. XD
"starbreath, what will we do without you? you can't leave us. you just can't"
the last words of the medicine cat that had cared for him, Flowersong, echoed throughout the toms mind. As he gazed into the water, he saw the faint outline of the femme's slim, white shape. His dodger blue eyes were replaced with her gold-amber ones. She had been his good friend, a fellow kit when he was. They grew up together, in a way. But oh how different they were. The femme's reflection faded and the tom found himself looking upon himself again. He sighed, disturbing the water only a little, and watched as the small waves continued across the water-top and out of his sight.
Quickly he glanced up, but his pure blue eyes met nothing in the sky. For he was the sky. All the cats down there, on earth, looked upon him as a star, so out of reach and far away. So distant, and yet so near. For they were watched, each and every one of them. They were protected by Starclan. But Starclan had faded away. Not many cats had died in quite a long time. You see, after a cat has died, its spirit joined the ranks of Starclan. But even then, Starclan cat's could die too. Not a dying, persay, scince they had no body to release from, but a fading of sorts, in which the spirit goes to a great rest, leaving earth and the skies forever. He sighed. Two generations of cats had come along and past him, and yet he still remained here, lost in the skies. Doomed to keep watch upon tiny little cats, or blessed to gaurd and protect inocent cats from whatever may befall them next? He prefered to see it the lighter of the two ways. He remained in the closer-to-earth stages of Starclan for a reason. Love. He still had much love for Thunderclan. It was still his home, even in his afterlife.
The tom looked back across the transparent water. Staring into the depths of the endless blue's took time. But it soon changed, and an image of the forest emerged and presented itself to the lone tom. The forest all looked beautifully peaceful and prosporus. Nothing looked like it need addressing, and so the tom nearly looked away. But in that instant that remained, while he still looked at the water, something began to change. He could see little red dots starting to float across the surface of the lake, at first only in the middle, then quickly spreading to all sides. The dots were mingled, some colored a blood-red and others colored a snow-white. Starbreath tilted his head slightly, staring into the water-glass with refound interest. The dots had now hit the shores of windclan, but were also quickly invading the shores of the other clans as well. They now started ot overcome the grass and trees of the landscape, and soon everything but the lake was either red of white. The small cries of cats reached his ears and he twitched and blinked. Suddenly it was all gone. All the red and white and cries were gone, and he looked back upon his own reflection in the evasive water.
is this a fore-telling of what will soon happen?Starbreath wondered to himself. The waters alway gave a little insight to what would befall the clans next. The dots had moved across the land so quickly nad suddenly, seeming to almost come out of nothing. What are they?? How soon were they coming? Would they be fatal? Starbreath turned away from the pool, facing the shapeless lumps of rolling black land that curved away from Starclan's fore-pool. His paws itched for something new, and so he stood up. He had a lot to think about, concerning the future, and so he set off to do his thinking. The one good thing about Starclan: you were never in a rush.
