As Serenechaos neared the dreary ShadowClan border, anxiety rose in her stomach. She never liked to go too close to the border, but Serenechaos really needed to get some juniper berries. The only place these precious berries grew was on the ShadowClan border. As it began to rain, droplets streaked down her face, making it seem like she was crying. Maybe Serenechaos felt like crying, but she started to cry for real. She just felt so-so-so down. Maybe it was because of the recent news that Volefur had died, or maybe it was just for no reason. It seemed like the weather was in her mood. Serenechaos spotted a juniper bush, and began to gather berries off of it, making sure to not drop or eat any. She didn't want to leave the forest and go back to camp just yet. Serenechaos just wanted a break from everything. For how long Serenechaos sat there crying, she did not know, the juniper berrires had rolled away, she was too careless right now to put them on a leaf. Serenechaos was having another one of her "moments". "Mousedung!" she muttered, now her herbs were gone just because of Serenechaos's stupid mistakes. The longer Serenechaos stayed there in the pouring rain, the more she became lonely. Does anyone miss me at camp? Or is everyone's lives better without me in the way? They're probably all tired of making sure I don't blow up. Serenechaos shook her head, knowing that nothing was true that she had just thought to herself. Some company would really, really cheer her up. Maybe Ashstar or Rosethorn would come find her or follow her scent trail to this position. Serenechaos waited, knowing that eventually somebody would come. She might not even mind a ShadowClan warrior at this point.

DapplePools heart raced has she hissed at the fox. It's fangs were sharp has it growled at her. She hissed before letting out a meow and jumping. She clawed it flanks her claws making scracthes along it has she bit down into it's ear. She felt it throw her off and she landed with a thud but soon got up. The fox had high tailed it out of there. She would have to report it to AshStar has soon has she got back from hunting. She had caught 2 mices, a water vole and had yet to fish but she deicded she would rather bring some mice bck instea.d Heading towards the ShadowClan border she hissed has she saw a figure but then tasted the air. She took the RiverClan scent in and walked over. She soon realized it was the RiverClan Medicine Cat SereneChaos. Padding up to her she bowed herh ead in greeting. "Hello Serene" she siad not caring that her tortishell colored pelt was dripping wet with the force of the rain. She dipped her head and gave the Medicine Cat an affectionate lick on the ear.

A yowl sounded from behind them. The fox had come back, and was now attacking Fishpaw. He had followed Dapplepool's scent trail, intending to ask her if she would show him better ways to fish. But then the fox, still enraged by its defeat, ahd come back and spotted a seemingly helpless victim. And Fishkit wasn't much of a fighter. So he scurried up a tree, then jumped on its back and hekld on with teeth and claws, calling out to Dappledpool and hoping she was close by.

xx.Serenechaos turned her stormy green gaze to Dapplepool, who was quite a beautiful she-cat. She shook her head in embarressment, hoping the tears would fly off and that the warrior wouln't notice. Serenechaos dipped her head back to Dapplepool with respect. She had always liked the warrior, who was very nice. Serenechaos licked Dapplepool between the ears back and stood up. She didn't mind the rain, no RiverClan cats did.
xx. "Hello Dapp-" The medicine cat paused, hearing a loud yowl coming from behind them. She identified it as Fishpaw, and then smelled fox. "Dapplepool!!! It's Fishpaw and the fox!" Serenechaos yowled as she hurtled towards the battle between fox and cat. Serenechaos scratched the ugly fox on the face and yowled a battle cry. The fox lashed it's paw out to her and hit her square in the back. She crashed to the ground, and stood back up, thank StarClan she wasn't hurt badly. Serenechaos slid her lean body under the fox and latched onto it's weak underbelly. She raked her claws across it menacingly. Serenechaos hoped Dapplepool would come soon.

Fishpaw held on for dear life. When it hit Serenechaos he angrily chomped down on tis ear. he ahd always admired her quiet grace, and he wouldn't have this big smelly fox hurting her. But then it threw him off and he fell in the bushes. He recovered and bit its tail as Serenechaos clawed its belly.

Serenechaos flinched as the fox shook her off, launching her into the bushes roughly. She landed on a branch, and the wind was knocked out of the young medicine cat. "Ow.." Serenechaos muttered as she recovered. She jumped at the fox angrily and scratched its eyes with all her might. Serenechaos turned to see if Fishpaw was ok, and the fox swiped its paw across her head, knocking her down right where she was.

DapplePool gave a loud hiss has she heard her apprentice FishPaws yell. Turning around she saw SereneChaos under the claws of the huge monters. She gave a mighty yowl and jumped onto the creature biting into it's flank. "Apparently you don't know when to stop" she said hissing and spitting at the fox. She felt it's claws connect with her side and she hissed being forced to let go. this fox would have to be killed it was too dangerous. Sliding under it she had enough time has it turned around and she lunged at his thraots. Grabbing hold of it she dug in deep has the fox hissed. She felt blood coming into her mouth and ripping her hard she ripped out it's throat and it laid there bleeding. Spitting out the fur she hissed. "Stupid fox". "Are you alright FishPaw Serene" she asked them. She had a pretty nice scratches on her side and then her ear was torn a bit.

[Fishpaw goes berserk when the fox hurts Serene and DapplePool, charges and only stops when DapplePool vanquishes it.]
Fishpaw: "I'm fine, but...SereneChaos! Is she alive?"
*licks SereneChaos pelt anxiously*

"I have no idea" she said running over to the clearing towards the beautiful she cat. She licked her face softly at first but then she began to lick her pelt. She then noticed the slowly rising and falling of the she-cats chest. "She's alive that's a relif isn't it FishPaw?" she said to her apprentice before padding over and giving him a lick on the ear. "You did bravely and fought well for such a young apprnetice trust me by the time your a Warrior you'll have learned much more you have a mentor who promises this" she replied purring at him. "Not to mention you'll learn the move I just told you i was taught that by my mentor and I hope when you become one yourself that you remember what I taught you" she said purring at him.

Serenechaos was barely aware of DapplePool and FishPaw licking her pelt, she was barely breathing. She felt faint, and far away, like she was in a different reality. Serenechaos blinked her eyes open and everything was blury, hazy. The medicine cat cat stumbled up, like someone or something was calling her, and followed the Starlight to a cliff edge. She was at the edge of the gorge, and the Moonlight shone on the she-cat's fur. Serenechaos looked up to the bright night sky, and was comforted. As if StarClan was sending Serenechaos an invisible remedy from above, Serenechaos felt energy grow in her limbs slowly. Ada girl, Serenechaos, your doing just fine.. A voice that sounded much like her mother mewed in Serenechaos's head.

Turning back to Sere she began to lcik her pelt more fervently hoping the she-cat would wake up. They couldn't lose there Medicine cat she wasn't that old at all. "Please Wake up" she whispered has she licked the she-cat fervently. She saw her breathing rate was gong up and she knew she would survive she could feel it in her heart. Has she sat down licking the she-cat with soft gentle licks that would hopefully rouse her from her unconsiouness.

"It's alright..." mumbled Fishpaw to Dapplepelt, "I know I can't fight. That fox hardly even noticed me..."
It seemed to him she was just trying to make him feel better about his shortcomings.
He leaned over SereneChaos and took a deep breath, then shouted: "SERENECHAOS!! CAN YOU HEAR ME?? WAKE UP, YOU HAVE TO!!!"

Serenechaos blinked her eyes open, and looked up. FishPaw and DapplePool were staring at her anxiously, she fixed her stormy gaze on them. She tried to speak, but words wouldn't come out. It seemed that there was nothing to say anyway. The young medicine cat wondered if something happened, was she mute? No! I won't give up! "I'm awake." She whispered shakily.

Serenechaos managed to let out a small mrrow of laughter. She stood up shakily, and was rapidly gaining her strength back. "Thanks for saving me!" She mewed graciously. "Well, we should get back to camp now, I'm sure AshStar and RoseThorn are axcious." She started to walk towards camp, each step more painful than the last.
