x..............................................x x..............................................x The world seemed to be moving slowly as the days passed. What is exciting adventures that they kept on referring to? Tsk. Bet it's nothing interesting, as always. Almost every cat I encounter has a companion right by their side. What's fun is there? Getting glued to your partner no matter where you go. Having to make sacrifices just because of them. It's a torture I tell ya!! Whatever. They can sort their lives out. No matter what, I need no friends. Might as well have slaves. Even if I try being their friends, they'll end up being my rival in a matter of seconds. So what's the use? That's right, nothing. Urgh. My life has been a boredom from the moment I was born. I should be lucky that there has no rules needed like that bossy family of mine.
"Ah geez!! Something new, please come out!!" I know, I sounded desperate. In fact, I am, no objections about that. "Hmph. Boring as always, huh?" Wow. I seemed to be talking to myself. That's exciting. Note the sarcastic there. My paws seemed to be soaking wet due to the morning dew. Heh. You must be wandering why I bother waking up when the morning sun isn't even high up yet. Simple: Excited? No. No reason? Nah. Sick of sleeping(like always)? Bingo. Like I said, I grew tired easily. Wait, make it, sick and tired easily. Suddenly, I felt something brushing against my coat of fur...
"Eh. Must be imagining things." If not? What else? Then I started to realized that there had been a gust of wind by my side. Oh. That's dumb of me. It was the wind. Keh. This goes to show that everyone is numb in their own ways. Whoa, whoa... Had I been walking for this long? Gosh, I didn't realize! Ack! There goes my dumb-ness again! And surprisingly, my legs don't feel exhausted or anything. Man, that's what I love about me! I know, I know. I'm self-centered. What'd you expect? They say I am a devil...
Grrwl, grrrwl... Whoa. What the heck-- oh... was just hungry... Let's see... Squirrel or mice? Maybe a flinch or two? Nah, I grew tired of chasing flinches. They're a waste of energy. Always perching up at the higher trees. Now that's not fair at all. I grew tired of squirrels anyway. Which means...mice? Looks like I have no other options. WHOA! Hold it! There it is again! The fresh taste of... darn! It's squirrels' scent... Grr... Fine! I'll might as well hunt down squirrels. I'm hungry for pete's sake! The air lingering above me smelled of fresh undergrowth, nuts and... my prey close by. Ahah! There is something I'm aiming for... thought I'd do well with mice instead...
My lips curved to a smirk. I know I can do this. I'm used to hunting these fast creators anyway. I could feel my body burning with anticipation. This is what I call sport. Just like that, we can see who wins by the amount of meals we managed to consume. Hehe... squirrels, squirrels, here I come...
+..........................+ Ah! Victory is mine! Hahaha!! The flavors of my meal dance on my tongue, savoring every bite. "Yum, yum!" Heaving a gulp, I took another larger bite, as if hoping to finish it before someone else steals it. Trust me, I'm not foolish. Just having a whale of a time having my daily meal. "Aah...", I breathed out a satisfying moan. By the time, the sun is almost at it's full circle. "Looks like the sun's here to play with me", I smirked, watching the fiery ball of fire rising at the far horizon, at a very relax manner. This is what I call life...?

"Hello there."
Silverripple decided to break the silence of rising sun. She sniffed around, finding that the loner has just aten some fresh kill.
"I am Silverripple, a loner myself, if you ask. Who are you?" her tone was anything but challenging this time. She felt too lonely and wanted a friend, so she has come to this part - far, far away from the twoleg place - to find relaxation somewhere nice. She licked a couple of her permanent scars on her paw and chest and looked at the tom before her demandingly. What's a friend if you don't know his name?

x..............................................x x..............................................x Man, it gets boring... Holy, I must be desperate for something to talk for I just heard a voice a-- Hold it!! It could not have been me cause that voice sounded so, real. Doesn't sound like a tom... Ah darn. A female? It'll take some patients to talk to she-cats... Not that I'm against them but they could be such a pain! Without noticing, a low growl abrupt from me. Should I reply? Or should I care less? If I leave her be, she'll began squawking...
I turned around.
My ears flicked forth and back irritably as my whiskers twitched in a rhythm. As my hazel orbs swept over her, my tense muscles relaxed. She's harmless alright but still--
"Don't you find it weird to be talking to a stranger", I smirked. Keh. If she knows how to talk my way, I might consider befriending her.
Looks like it's playtime.
+................................+ Editor's Note: Umm... how do I say this... Ah yes! I apologize for not having a good reply this time. Just that I'm in a writer's block! But, I tried ^.^" +................................+

occ: That's all right! You're pretty good at RPing! By the way, nice avatar!
"Don't you find it weird talking to a stranger?"
Silverripple just snorted. "Yeah, right. Like how many times have you been talking to cats in your life? For goodness sake I've been chit-chatting to strangers since I was a kit - well until the -" Silverripple paused for a second and took a deep breath, "Incidence."
She felt her muscles tense again. Once again she has asked a question (who are you?) and the cat she questioned had just spat another question at her. However, she fought to keep her fur and shoulders relaxed on her pelt and calmly mewed, "I assume you're annoyed to see me. If that's your case, I'll be on my way. It seems that you're the type of cat that prefers independence and not to be disturbed, so I'll leave then."
The pretty silver she-cat flicked her tail and turned, padding towards the lake where the clan cats live.

x..............................................x x..............................................x I kept on my cool and collected self, not caring her harsh words. She's... not bad, eh? Not every cat I encountered would speak my language. Heh. She's alright.
"Hold it", I called out. She has a way with words if I do say so myself. So, I won't find it weird talking her my way. Though she sounds a little hesitant back there. About the incident, what about it? Snapping my head back at her, I waited. Why would she be heading her way towards the clans? They're nothing but crap.

Editor's Note: Cool, thanks! You're not bad as well! =3

out of character/occ: Just so you know, Silverripple doesn't know where she's heading. She's sort of a "wonderer". Here's her bio, if you'd like to find out more about her: www.wonderlandcats.proboards40.com/index.cgi?board=rlk&action=display&thread=709&page=1
Silverripple, who was padding off quite quickly, skidded to a halt.
"Hold it."
"What is that you say?!" she challenged the cat. Her eyes then turned into a gentle gaze, filled with amusement. "Oh, so you want me to stay with you little mouse-brain, don't ya'?" She switched her gaze to the sun, whom by now had already raised high into the air so that you can barely see a shadow.
"So...how long have you been here, watching the sunrise all day and hunting for yourself, huh?" She was a fast speaker, so before he could answer she mewed, "A little furball like you should explore more and be more adventuresome."
Her gaze was trying to burn into his fur. Yes, Silverripple liked to intimidate cats - esspecially strangers. She wanted to make him think that she's more than a plain ol' she-cat, struggling to survive on her own. No. No, no, no, no, no. She was much tougher than that! Her skills are good as any other cat, and she is esspecially good at fighting.

x..............................................x x..............................................x Whoa. She's... not bad. Darn I have to admit she's strong. But I'm not the little furball ya think. Nothing is nastier than me I hope. My ears flicked and flicked, trying to brush the anger away. I succeeded.
"Oh I can be adventurous alright", I smirked. My claws ached to give her a few scars but I withstand. Who ya calling little anyway. Though it is true that I'm sorta... small, comparing to her. Heh. What's the bother? I can be stronger than how I look like right now. Taking a few steps back into the shady area, I sat. With my paws tucked neatly between my hind leg, my eyes seared through her, daring for a challenge.
I'm not a fool like you think. I'm not a weakling either. So don't dare threatening me...
"Hrmph. You got a way with words", I began. Well, it is right after all.

Silverripple looked at him, unsheathing her claws. "You know what? I do." She gave herself a few chest licks and politely challenged the tom with a steady mew, "You want a little fight? It's been awhile since my claws have clawed any fur off some animal.
She didn't give the cat a chance to speak. She lunged herself at him, pouncing on the cat with great force. Then, with great swiftness, she adequately jump on his back, causing the tom to turn and roll over to get the silver cat off.

x..............................................x x..............................................x Everything seemed to have leaped a second faster than I am. Without notice, a rather heavy object hit me on the back, causing me to hit the ground with great force. What the heck?! With my claws outstretched, I planted them onto the hard earth, gripping the surface as I tried my very best to wriggle free. My chest seemed to be squashed between the ground and my body weight. The taste of the earth was sickly disgusting. I panted, yearning to breathe properly as the smell of the musty damp earth suffocated me. I let out a loud yowl before gritting my jaws shut. My hind-legs was caught in between the opponent's body.
"Get off me you wretched thing!?" I snarled, struggling free. The scent of my opponent grew stronger. My eyes widened as I realized who it was.
Silverripple
Ah. So she's behaving bad now eh? Trying to defeat me with just one blow? Who does she think she is?? My master or something? From her weight and her length, I could tell she's older than me. But-- she smells rather...young? No way. I got beaten by a little kitty?! Darn. This shouldn't be happening... What more! She's larger than me! Curse my family for giving me a small figure...
"Idiot", I managed to said in between my sigh. Gathering up all my energy I have left, I lifted myself up as my muscles began to tense, causing me to tremble under her weight. Boy, she needs to lose some! With a huff, I bit her left paw as I tossed her towards a further distance. I'm not a kitten anymore, stupid. Bringing my paws to a regular pose, I chested out myself, with my head held high.
"You don't think I'm a kitten do you?" I teased. Licking my paws, I scratched my weapons against a rock nearby, making sure they are curved and sharp. My tail lashed from side to side, waiting for her second move. This is beginning to get fun! Hehe...

"You don't think I'm a kitten do you?!"
"Ha! As if! A little kitten would never survive on its own. Anyway, any cat could've easily mistaken you, and why, I'm" Suddenly, pain swept through her leg as her paw went limp. Then, before she knew it, she was tossed across the clearing like a little mouse! Why, this tom must be much older than she thought he was...yes much over than 9 moons. The she-cat mumbled in a growl, "You're small for your age. I'm 12 moons old and I'm bigger than you!"
She stalked slowly, watching his every move. He's pretty serious about this... she thought as the cat stratched his claws against rocks and lashed his tail crazely. As fast as a rabbit, she pinned him to the ground, claws stretched out, teeth gleaming against the rays of the sun.
"Ya' think you can beat me as easily as that?!" she meowed with a hint of amusement in her voice.

x..............................................x x..............................................x A huge force of waves swept against the walls of skull. I mostly gave in to my shoulders to withstand the fall. If I hadn't thought of doing that, I would have found my jaws snapped in two! Oooh. Let me tell you, that is never a good option to choose. Either to live my whole life, lame or just having an injury on the shoulder. I'd rather have a scar. Instead of thinking something to fight back, here I am, thinking of myself. That's a great thing to do, Cooro. My eyes sank deeper into hers. Not even I know what I'm doing. I snapped my attention away, staring at the side of the forest floor my head was laid on.
Ba-thump
Okaay.... that is totally not like me. I shuddered and began to growl. If she isn't going to get the heck off of me, I swear I'll erupt any moment now. Jaws snapping, I strained my neck to grab one of her paws with my razor teeth. Never giving in, I nearly made a reach for her limp left paw. Instead, I only got a scruff of her fur.
"Darn", I growled, with my eyes staring at her intensely. My mind raced like when mice run for their lives. Ever thought I stopped by would end up failing. I just knew it. She's not the type to be known as a dumb fella. Grr...I need to get out of this position...
-x--------------------x- Author's Note: Alright, I'm terribly sorry for being missing around 10 days. I counted alright. Erm... forgive me? *puppy eyes*

ooc: That's okay. Forgive ya! *hugs* Sorry for the slight delay.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Silverripple cocked her head as the cat growled something to himself. It sounded like 'darn'. She decided she's done enough and let go of her grip. She hardly winced when he swiped a piece of her fur. This guy's had enough. she thought. Then with a flick of a tail, indicating the fight's over, she turned around and walked a few pawsteps away.
"Had enough?" she mewed calmly, hoping the cat didn't see this as surrender. Her gleaming leaf-green eyes showed toughness and many experience through the 12 moons she's lived this life. Her claws sheathed and the cat sat down, licking a scar. She locked her gaze on the loner, waiting for a reply or reaction. She was prepared for anything, or at least that's what it felt like.

x..............................................x x..............................................x
The unbearable weight passed away, as if blown away by the breeze as it caught up with it. His outstretched claws lessened its length as his image looked less threateningly. Whatever the cost it, he knew he has loss a battle; his very first loss that is. His eyes swept across the still forest floor as his struggled to get up. His muscles and joints felt sore and stiff, making it a challenge for him to be able to move his limbs freely. Gritting his pointed teeth, he took huge breaths to withstand the pain he’s suffering to his aches. How did I even lose this dumb battle?! His eyes remained on the ground as his ears twitched irritably. His uneven breathing eventually turned into a low growl, giving the hint of not to be disturbed. However, he knew he had to face the consequence of this battle after his loss. Feeling with rage and disappointment, he staggered his way towards a pile of dried leaves, not far from him. His eyes never lift anywhere but the ground. Never in his life had he felt this shame and discouragement after a battle; maybe because he won most of it? That’s right. He must have loss a rank.
His ears pricked at the question of the opponent. Had enough? Of course I do idiot… Wincing in pain of his aches, he sat down carefully, careful enough not to sprain anything. Feeling uncomfortable due to his weak spine, he gave up to lying down on the rough yet damp leaves of the oak tree. His energy felt as though they were drained completely. As his unsteady breathing came to a rest, he heaved a sigh and lifted his gaze to her. What his gaze seemed to be odd was that instead of a harsh and cold stare, they were soft and calm. Maybe I need to have a rest…
“Well, congrats. You won this battle”, he admitted ending his statement with a small chuckle.
-x--------------------x- Author's Note: Aww! I got a huggy! =3 *huggles*
There's nothing to be sorry about delaying. Besides, I sure delayed somewhat on this post 0.0
And I say, your roleplaying skills sure are improving! =]

ooc: xD Thanks! I actually can do better, but I admit that I'm a lazy bum. D:
Silverripple rolled her eyes. "Hmf," she snorted. "I was hoping for a good challenge and a more exciting fight. Giving up so easily? I don't think so. You've got to be kidding me!"
She let the breeze ruffle her fur, cooling her down greatly. She had generated much heat and sweat from the fight - but it wasn't enough. It never was. To her, that was just a small skirmish, through and through. This cat needed an all-out war to be happy!
"I guess I'll see you later" she mewed, eyes glowing with mischief and disappointment. "I was hoping to get a ton of my fur ripped off and stuff, but I guess that didn't happen, and I can tolerent that." She started padding away, away from the sunlight. It was setting now, and the scenery was beautiful. Golden sunrays made the clouds glow as the sky was slowly painted over with magnificent shades of red, orange and purple and blue. Silverripple's pelt didn't show very well in the light - it just appeared to be a jet black color instead of the usual sparkly silver. But that didn't matter. She disappeared into the forest within a couple of seconds.
She only left some scars, and her remaining scent.
