{Thank you! And... Nah, I don't think you degrades the personality of badgers, I think that's pretty realistic compared to "Omhmggee, imma badeur!" And the "Uncle Jim died when he began thinking about the weather" part's hilarious! And short post? xD yeah, right!}
Novawish stared blankly, for the time elapse of a blink, her eyes frozen in Kestrelclaw's back, as he leaped to Novastar's front, in assume to protect her. Even while it lasted a split second, the feeling from her past came back to her. A feeling of when you felt special, somehow, from others, where you felt that you weren't the only . . . But the badger was still there, no matter what Kestrelclaw or her thoughts did--thoughts? Whatever! Her eyes focused, squinting almost, at the badger.
But, Kestrelclaw did hold the badger up. She knew that move; it was a warning. Why didn't she think of it before? Stupid, stupid, stupid! Let him beat you . . . Anyways, she acted quickly, blaming on her stupidness on the badger instead. Her gaze turned even colder and meaner than before, staring at the badger with pure black hatred, teeth baring, her crouch at a terrifying angle. Claws were sheathed, showing her claws. Her face was straight and meant one thing: DIEEEEE! As if she was the badger.

ic; Kestrelclaw witnessed as Novawish injured the badger, but it was obvious a single slash would not suffice. It was obvious the badger was as hebetudinous and torpid as any other badger was, but he had mortal claws. Once Novawish got out of the creature's range of view, it headed for Kestrelclaw, in spite of the fact that he had previously injured the beast. The tom was prepared and remorselessly foundered his claws on the badger's chest. Don't ask how, but Kestrelclaw knew most badger's weak point was there. It was an instinct. Cats do not know a badger's heart is in their chest, divesting the warrior from actually knowing. So yeah, he sank his claws in the badger's chest.
I screamed in pain. How did that cat find out my chest was so vulnerable? How did he even dare touch such a fine creature like me, when he is just pure filth? I'll show him... Or at least, I will once this... [What's that word you say when you are really hurt? It started with P... Poin... Pang... Pain! Pain, yeah. So, where was I? Oh yeah.] Oh I'll show that stupid cat who's boss! If only this pain wasn't so annoying. Then, I felt something falling on my pelt. It was warm, but as it kept streaming through my body, the pain began getting worse. I stared at it and touched it. It was a red liquid. Don't ask me what it was because I've never known, but either way, I knew it was a negative thing, for it only appeared on injured badgers that were nearing death. For Helga Hufflepuff's sake, why on Earth are our chests so feeble?! And what that she-cat had done made things worse... She had stared at me with such loathe, I almost got petrified with... [That emotion you feel when you're scared... Fier, no... Fear? No... Fingy, never... Fanger... Ah, I'll just stick with fingy.] ... fingy when her eyes got locked in mind. It worked partly to paralyze me on the spot, unable to move.
ooc; xD 'Omhmggee, imma badeur!' Good one! Wanna have a shot at destroying the badger? -gives Novawish a baseball bat-

{Thank you! And yes, Novawish will gladly harm the badger with a baseball bat. Look, she's smiling in glee. xD Also, I feel like writing in 1st person. It may be your inspirational badger writing or the book I'm reading. xD I think I can express Nova's feelings more and--anyways, it sounds fun!} {Ooh, also in present tense.}
I do not know how dying feels like. Nor living an eternity with only myself and the dark. Stories I've heard of the Dark Forest, pain, and other stories that misery loves should fit besides my life, this moment. The fear is irresistible. It is almost like desire, the rush of blood pumping through my body like a wave crashing among the hard, salty rocks, my deep heaving breaths sucking in as much as possible, to reach my neck until to where I can not breath anymore, loudly.
My eyes close, my body rising taller with my fullest breath, stretching up, higher as if I could become the sky itself with my oxygen. My paws and my head feels lighter and the shivers dance in my spine.
As my eyes open, feeling the motion on the ground, the name echos. Kestrelclaw. They fly up quick, so does my heart follows with adrenaline, excitement, fear, and admiration for Kestrelclaw. And so does the badger's, I'd assume. It happens fast. I hate to say it, but my actions were delayed, probably with some minor distraction, and when my eye snapped--everything went boom.
Kestrelclaw. Claw. Badger. Chest. Heart. Blood. Frozen. The scenes refreshes in my mind, a flair with every word, connecting. Fast. Fast! The pictures connects, a time less than a second--time is precious. One person, one moment, one thought--those led to incredible changes. Everything.
''Kestrelclaw, Kestrelclaw, Kestrelclaw . . . he's done it!" I think, with the upmost excitement. I'm nearly cheering for him. In my head, the name is ruminated in excited whispers. Ke-stral-claw . . . Until the word is repeated too frequently that it is not the same anymore. . . . gestrualeclog?
And I know the time for fun has not ended, yet. And at the sight of more blood rushing out of the badger's messy white chest, mixed with my--mentally, my eyes roll--happiness, I break out of the cold staring eyes to a wicked grin. Hah!
I study the badger--will he attack or not? Stay or run away? What shall he do next? It is almost like a game to me--at the sight of blood, everything changes. I'm not saying I'm a lunatic for blood or anything. It's a triumph. I know, I know, I recall some of my lessons of not gloating or underestimating. But I just cannot help it. This too is a desire.
My eyes lower down and up, at the badger's body, with my eyebrows following after it as well. Shall I plunge my claw right below his heart? To make sure? It is wicked, yes. But it is partly for survival. Our life.

ic; Kestrelclaw did not do much but stare at the badger as blood forged from its chest. He had never seen anything alike. Of course, he had injured and quarreled with badgers countless times before, but never had so much blood been spilled from them.
Were his claws that sanguinary? Or maybe that lancinating? He could not tell. In his animal ignorance, little did he know that he had incised the badger's heart. As homicidal as it sounds, you can not blame the poor feline for not knowing what he had done.
Blood kept submerging the badger's body and pelt, announcing that his death was betiding. Even in his vicious nature, Kestrelclaw could not bear such sight. He backened away slowly, unable to comprehend what he had done. His senses were going numb, in dread rather than revolt. His gaze befalled on his claws, tinged in the creature's blood. They proved he was guilty. How could he have done such thing?
Kestrelclaw watched, helpessly, as the badger collapsed in the ground, engulfed in gore and anguish. Maybe it wasn't entirely his fault... Maybe what Novawish had done had previously tarnished the badger. But it had been a mere push. It had been powerful, but the badger had not bleeded. So yes, it had been Kestrelclaw.
Even in its batam-sized eyes, the tom could perceive life slithering from him. The eyes of creatures could not tell a lie. Only were Kestrelclaw's eyes able to conceal secrets, and that was what made him so distinctable. But now, he was to be recognized as a sanguineous criminal for doing such thing to a badger. In spite of being a badger, one of the cat's greatest enemies, he did not deserve such fate.
It was only a matter of time before the badger grasped death. In less than a minute, he would be whirling in the realms of his badger ancestors, if such thing existed. Kestrelclaw could not resist anymore. He gave Novawish a final glance before running away into the forest, utterly terrified.
ooc; Man, sorry for always replying to this thread late! >.< I'm like Dory from 'Finding Nemo'... Oh and, lol, Gestrualeclog sounds so funny. Hahaha. Gestrualeclog. -keeps laughing-

OOC//: Compared to you two, it looks like I am a beginner RPer... wow!
Two optics the color of leaf-fall, watch as the two cats and badger fight to the death. The she-cat known as Novawish does nothing compared to the tom known as Kestralclaw. A silent growl of disgust builds in the twilight shecats throat. The badger falls to the ground, blood spewing from his chest. His life spilling on the ground. Such a horrid beast he is, dying pathetically at the paws of two measly felines. He deserves the death. the shecat snares in a silent voice. No one of his size and strength should be hebetudinous to fall victim to any of the feline species. Through out the whole scene, never once does the shecat let her presence be known to badger nor cat.
One less presence is felt within the clearing as the badger falls into the state of eternal sleep. Never had Wasp-paw seen such a scene, and never had she seen so much blood...well, not since her mums death anyway. The black fury returns at the thought of her mother and her murderous father. Somewhere he lurks, but I'll find him and make him pay. Wasp-paw rapidly shakes her head, pushing back distracting thoughts. When her vision clears, Kestralclaw is gone. Novawish stands alone, with the limp heap that was once a badger. The twilight shecat sees her chance to appear and takes it like a starving cat takes an offered mouse. Slowly, she slips from her dense, vegetative hiding place, into the open. "Quite a show, Novawish. Makes me really see and respect the true you." she snares, her voice thick with sarcasm.

[[: AUTUMN x.o.x.o i.don't.wanna.be.like.cinderella “No! Stop please!” A shrill voice cried loudly, anger and pain filled the polluted atmosphere. Where was mother? Why wasn’t she here to save me? No one can hear my cries for help… I’m going to die a silent death with no one knowing… I’m going to be murdered and never be seen again! “Please, no! Don’t hurt me anymore!” A young calico she-cat lay on the grubbily ground, her emerald green eyes stretched wide in terror, “please!”
The cuts in her sides throbbed with intense pain; this pain wracked her body repeatedly, each time making her wince. “Why are you doing this to me?” She wailed as sharp thorns ripped through her flesh, after a few heartbeats blood came to its opening and smoothly flooded out. Tears filled her eyes and slipped down her cheeks, the calico wailed again, struggling vainly on the ground in attempt to free herself.
“Shut up you filth!” Growled a tom’s voice, his unsheathed claws digging into her stomach to stop her wiggling. At once the she-cat moaned, “st-o-op,” she murmured between gasping breaths. The pain... it was absolutely unbearable for one at such a young age.
The orange brute thrust his muzzle into her face, his rancid breath seeming to hang in the air, “You do not tell me what to do!” He glared at her anguished expression, his amber eyes narrowed in frustration, “Where is it?” The calico moaned again, twitching below him. "ANSWER ME OR I’LL SHRED YOU!”
Her beautiful green eyes opened and squinted up at him, “I-its over there… beh-hind the silver can…” She mumbled and almost at once was kicked in the underbelly, sending her rolling into the shadows, the calico she-cat didn’t reappear. Behind her the tomcat stalked over to the can and grabbed what was behind it, a nibbled on fish, just as he was about to flee he glanced back into the shadows. Nothing was heard from dark depths. Without another meow the orange brute darted away, his matted fur disappearing from view as he rounded a corner.
Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. I can’t move. I can barely breathing. I’m going to die. There is no doubt now. Please… I need a miracle. I can’t go on here. I need to move out of this town, somewhere without this much violence and killing. If I live… I’ll need to learn to fight. Fighting is the key if I ever want to make it. I’ll fight all that come into my way… I won’t wound them unless they wound me. The only way to make it out of this living hell is to fight my way free... every pawstep...
The calico blinked her glittering eyes, tears still leaked from their sides, either her life was coming to an end or she was going to make it through many battles more. A few hours past until finally, there was movement within the darkness, the calico stumbled to her paws. Pain pulsing through her even still, the she-cat limped back where she came from, passing the Twoleg buildings that closed in the alley where she was ambushed.
If she lived through tonight she would start anew. Autumn would free herself somehow.
The greenery of the pine trees flashed above the same calico's head, many moons had passed since she was back at Twoleg Place. She had fought many battles indeed and finally succeed into finding a new home. ShadowClan. Autumn sighed to herself, it took a lot to make them agree to her request of joining but in the end it happened. The she-cat's eyes slowly began to close when a sudden yowl echoed throught the pine forest.
At once the she-cat sprang to her paws, her beautiful calico pelt swishing slightly in the breeze, then she took off toward the noise. Autumns bounced nimbly through the undergrowth, knowing it as well as she knew her mother's scent. Her mother... For a moment she almost tripped but at once pushed the thought away and concentrated on getting to whomever called the alarm.
At last Autumn stopped her mad dash to the rescue, she leapted through a bush and landed in a hollow, there in front of her were four things. Three ShadowClan cats, one being an apprentice, and finally a fallen badger. Autumn's eyes widened as she took in all of this, after a moment Kestrelclaw fled from the scene with obvious terror in his eyes.
The calico swallowed and peered at the creature.
The badger had a severe wound on its chest, blood spilling onto the forest floor slowly and dreadfully. Suddenly Autumn remembered her own blood, how its like to feel like your life is slipping away-- in this case the badger's life really was departing. Autumn's whole body seem to freeze as her viridian eyes fallowed the crimson liquid until it formed a puddle.
"No," the meow fell softly from her lips.
Without even processing what she was doing the warrior numbly padded forward until she could cleary look down on the dying animal. Her paws barely made noise as they traveled over the grass, Autumn's expression became blank as she once agained slipped away into her memories. Slashing. Blood. Near death.
Its was too similar... [/blockquote]

Wasp-paw didn't intend on allowing her mentor to reply to mocking words. The scent of another of her clan entered her scent glands moments before a shecat burst from the underbrsuh. Only a moments look was enough to make a look of disgust spread across Wasp-paw's face. The non-clan cat, Autumn, practically staggered over to the dying creature. A soft "no' escaped her lips, barely audible even to Wasp-paw's sharp sense of sound. Her disgusted look grew as she realized the shecat was 'sympathizing' with the badger. "Mouse-brained non-clan cat. Shadowclan's going soft! Since when do we except non-clan born warriors? That's Thunderclan's job!" Wasp-paw spat, as if she were talking to herself.

ic; Kestrelclaw was destroyed. Maybe more demolished like the badger he had just assassinated. He stared vulnerably at his claws, whom he had not disavowed. They were tarnished in blood. In the badger's blood, the badger who he had mercilessly murdered. The tom had not gone far from the clearing and could still hear voices emitting from it. He recognized one as a ShadowClan apprentice. It was Wasp-paw apparently, after her sarcastic comment. He cared little about that though. He did not even feel revolt when he heard and felt the presence of that Autumn, the bashful ShadowClanner. He actually felt ashamed of himself and for the brutal spectaculum he had created. And now, an apprentice and a warrior knew about it. Not to mention Novawish, who was ShadowClan's deputy. Kestrelclaw trusted her, but in a situation like hers, it was most likely for her to rattle about it to Whitestar, and the story of the sanguinary killer would proliferate.
Well, he should feel proud of himself. He loved to murder and he loved that sentiment of gore skimming his claws. What did he had to be ashamed of? Nothing. He was a ShadowClanner, and the ShadowClanners were known for their vicious nature. And, he was much more malicious than them all. He should feel proud of himself. Grinning after his previous thoughts, Kestrelclaw stood up. Neglecting the devastating feeling of disgrace and ignominy, he marched back to the clearing, ready to encounter the other cats. His eyes pored over the others, with amusement arousing on them. 'Greetings...' he saluted awkwardly, glancing at Novawish, partly expecting her to tell him what to do with them.

Blood. Blood. Blood. The sticky, hot liquid swallowed her paws up as she stood there, staring unblinkingly, at the creature. Autumn's emerald green eyes glowed as they slowly transitioned from the badger's chest to its flank. There she saw a tiny, flickering movement before eternal silence enveloped them.
"Its all too familar..." Autumn murmured quietly to herself. This had happened to me before, long ago when I was a mere six moons old... Before I knew how to fight, how to act, how to defend myself against others. Suddenly she was brought back by a harsh voice from Wasp-paw, her ear swiveled around to catch her meow. "Mouse-brained non-Clan cat. ShadowClan's going soft! Since when do we accept non-Clan born warriors? That's ThunderClan's job!"
Autumn's claws dug into the ground until she whipped her head back, her fur bristling as her eyes narrowed. "Why you..." She turned herself away from the fallen creature, her sparkling calico pelt swishing around her as she took a menacing step forward. "How dare you say those things to someone like me." Autumn growled through gritted teeth until she was literally in Wasp-paw's face. "I had joined long before you were born, I have fought many battles alongside my Clanmates and protected them with my life. You dare think I do not have a right to belong here? Just because my blood isn't fully to your desire? Well think again!" The she-cat spat.
Autumn glared down upon Wasp-paw until she swatted her ear with an ivory sheathed paw, "Think before you speak to me with words as those," she advised. The ShadowClan warrior blinked and turned away, what she valued most was her honor and no way was some stupid little apprentice going to mess it all up in front of Novastar. She couldn't bring herself to look at the deputy now.
Autumn padded farther away from Wasp-paw, her pawsteps light against the forest floor, soon the warrior heard a different cat approach. The angry she-cat looked toward the noise and spotted Kestralclaw, suddenly beaming with pride now, all her frustration slipped away and turned to slight surprise.
Autumn trotted over to him and dipped her head a bit, "Kestralclaw, what exactly happened here?" The calico was curiously gazing up at him with her beautiful green eyes glittering. She waited patiently for a reply.

Wasp-paw scented Kestrelclaw come back to the clearing before she actually saw him. Once her orange optics lay apon the murderous cat, she grinned. "Nice kill, Kestrelclaw." she complimented as if she were his mentor. "That aphonic badger never had a chance!" She then shot a glare towards Novawish before averting her eyes back to Kestrelclaw. "And you did it without any help." she mewed, enjoying this chance to degrade the cat who was not only her mentor, but the deputy of her clan as well.

Nope. No need to re-kill the badger again. The breath of the badger dies and there is a sudden eminence in the air. The badger is finally dead and I am still staring at it. My thoughts cleared, and I bowed my head before the badger. I don't know why I give the dead such respect, especially that heap of black, white, and red fur. Just an instinct that I should do this. A survival instinct.
My breaths are harder to come, deeply enhancing slowly for each, the adrenaline slowly inclining. Stupid Badger. I'd seen many deaths, not as big or bloody as this one, but it all felt the same. My legs felt numb and shuddered, tingling, even the body sympathized. I looked away, to the direction Kestrelclaw ran. I don't stop him, nor blame him. He needs it.
& & &
Then my own apprentice, Wasppaw came. I really haven't got to know her or really paid attention to her before. Just another wanna be Shadowclanner, trying to be bad as possible. Why are we so evil-like? I rolled my eyes. We really didn't need an apprentice seeing this.
"Quite a show, Novawish. Makes me really see and respect the true you." 'Shut up.' I want to say. But that'd make things only worse, right? I sigh and glare at the apprentice. I think hard, saying it inside my head. 'A child of the Dark Forest, please go away. Get lost. We're having a moment here. Shoo. Do those apprentice things that they all call 'cool'. And don't come back.' Yeah. I wish.
Instead I say. "Yeah, hello. Now Wasppaw, leave." My voice seems to be wobbly--a curse from the dead body. But still, it carries authority. The first lesson I'll teach that little brat will be a painful, unforgettable lesson about respect. Little jerk.
& & &
I sigh greater when Autumn reaches the area. Why is everyone coming here? Who'd like to see a dead badger anyways? Is the Shadowclan territory that small? Emotions are gathering all here, from their aspect of how they saw the badger. Kestrelclaw fled, Wasppaw may be mocking, and Autumn traveling to memory lane. And what was I doing here? Looking away.
& & & & & "His eyes pored over the others, with amusement arousing on them. 'Greetings...' he saluted awkwardly, glancing at Novawish, partly expecting her to tell him what to do with them."
Amusement. That wasn't right. There was nothing amusing about it. Maybe he's gone crazy. We had to get out of here. Time to choose. I was the deputy right? Except maybe that Kestrelclaw killed the badger. And for explanations. "Everyone, let's go. There's really nothing to see here: Badger. Dead. Blood. We did what we were supposed to do." My eyes close, tiny wrinkles forming in concentration and disgust. "Badgers are dangerous; we've killed it. And that's that."
I open my eyes and put on the most clearest, unaffected, expressionless face ever. Nothing to see, right? I also do ignore Wasppaw; the unforgettable lesson about respect is coming closer than I thought.
{Gah, I tried to make my post as shortest as possible without losing all the details. And I think I lost some muse... so yeah. You can read the first 3 sections, they're just like how Novawish reacted to each of them.}
