Her wide ears placed delicately on the tip-top of her head, and further down are long, Grey whiskers to help her navigate. She has a small, light colored chest, extending down into thin, but powerful legs, allowing her to catch up with her fast-footed prey.
×Look under her left paw, however, and notice that she is missing one toe-pad. This is not from battle, but she was born like this. Beyond her front legs is a her belly, curving inwards towards the back, and coming to her hind appendages. They are thin and strong, like the front legs, but with a little more power. Her long tail extends from her rear back, helping her balance. Her eyes are another story. They are sightless circles of entirely light blue. There is no pupil to stare down opponents, just pure, crystal blue. She was also born like this. Blind.

Summary
× Other cats would say Cleargaze is often shy. She isn't shy. She is simply deep in thought. She wasn't always so serious. As a kit, she was carefree. But then tragedy struck. She learned so much about the real world with that single event {which you will find out about in her story.}Because it happened so soon in her life, where in most other cats, nothing so terrible usually happens so early, she learned to deal with grief and other emotions much sooner then most cats. This is what has made her so wise so very soon. She seems to have the wisdom of a elder, and other cats often come to her to ask advice. As for love, she has closed herself off every since the incident. She doesn't want to be hurt again.
× Cleargaze is almost never angry, and is calm in tight situations. As said before, she is often quiet. When not quiet, she is in a state of pure happiness. She spills out words, often surprising other cats with her rambling. Then after a little while, something happens to bring her back down to earth and she is back in her hole of thoughts.

Story
× kithood
Two rogues. Physical attraction. Abracadabra! A litter of three kits were born. They were named Flower, Scratch, and Petal.
The young kits developing eyes were squeezed shut. Finally the day had come when the kits began to open their eyes, revealing milky colored eyes. Their mother was was over-joyed to see Flower's golden-yellow eyes and Scratch's bright green eyes when the milkiness dissolved, but disappointed when she gazed at Petal's entirely blue eyes. She hoped she was just a late bloomer; and that nothing was wrong with her kit. She didn't want her other kits to be dragged down by the defected one. A few moons past, and still no change in Petal's eyes.
The kits mother concluded that her gray kit, now four and a half moons old, was blind. When she began training her kits to hunt, she realized Petal was trying extremely hard, harder then her brothers and sisters, but she was still having trouble. She was slowing them down, and her family was slowly getting thinner and thinner. The aggressive cat no longer had any interest in Petal. The young kit needed extensive training and practice. It was just so hard for her to hunt in the undergrowth, with her tail whacking against wild mustard grasses and tall weeds. Petal realized there was something wrong with her, but she wasn't sure what. Finally, one night, when she was almost five moons old, her mother had become frustrated with Petal, and shouted at her that she is nothing but a problem kit. That she was blind.
On Petal's fifth moon, she sensed her mother yearning for something. When night fell, Petal was picked up roughly by the scruff and took far away from their den, farther then any of the kits had gone before. A putrid smell wafted from her mother and into Petal's nostrils. Finally, after her mother had carried for miles, the kit was set down facing the opposite direction of her mother. Petal sniffed, searching for her mother and turned around, a paw outstretched; batting around and feeling for her mother. But, she felt nothing but air. Her mother was gone.
Petal was saddened with grief after this tragedy. She was still in the wooded area, but nowhere near her home. She stumbled around the area, thinking about what had just happened. Had her mother really abandoned her for good? If so, why? Because I'm different? Anger pulsed through he kits body. She knew at heart that she could be a better hunter or fighter then her den-mates with practice. From this moment on Petal decided she didn't need her mother's or anyone else's love. She would just be hurt. She would be the best toughest, most fierce cat in the woods. She sighed and curled up in a ball, resting her head on her paws, and drifted into sleep.
In the morning, she was woken by cold, prodding noses. Startled, she jumped to her paws, claws unsheathed. It was a group of Clan cats. So they are real! Petal thought to herself with excitement. Apparently she had been dropped off in their territory. Petal was taken back to their camp, and shown to their leader. She was told she was going to be a member of the Clan! Petal was led to the Nursery, where a kind cat that smelled almost like her mother took care of her for another moon, teaching her the warrior code and introducing her to other kits and queens in the den. Petal was intrigued with the warrior code, and especially StarClan. She felt safer learning that her ancestors might be somewhere up in the sky looking down at her. She thanked them for the opportunity to become a warrior. She was named Clearkit.
× Apprentice
Soon after this, she was apprenticed. Now she was to be known as Clearpaw of ThunderClan. She was eager to start her training. Her mentor was accustomed to teaching different moves when he taught another blind warrior to fight when she lost one of her eyes. Her taught her difficult moves and hunting crouches. She worked on remembering them. In almost all her spare time, Clearpaw worked on the moves, determined to be the best warrior she could be. All she needed was practice.
Hunting was the problem. She had trouble stalking in the undergrowth because she couldn't she whether she was going to snap a twig under her paw or her tail would whack over a long weed and frighten the prey. Sometimes she wondered if she would be better off in WindClan. If only there was no leaves or twigs...
× Warrior
Looking into the blind apprentices eyes, the leader announced, "From now on, this warrior will be known as Cleargaze." After moons of practice, she had conquered hunting and was a honorable fighter. In battle she was fierce and surprised her enemies with her unique fighting skills. Litters of kits were birthed to the Clan, and Cleargaze enjoyed playing with the kits when she had a free moment. She felt especially drawn to one; called Flutterkit. The kit was rambunctious, and distracted, but kind. The other cats must have noticed the connection between the two, because a few moons later, Cleargaze was granted Flutterpaw as her firstapprentice.
Cleargaze was determined to get the apprentice to pay attention to her when she was teaching her. Giving her normal training didn't seem to grab the apprentices attention. She decided to try adding in stories and teaching her bits of her unique training. Now she had the kits attention. The kit was intrigued with the new training. She began to train more and concentrate better. Finally, Cleargaze decided to give her a test. She battled her hardest against her apprentice, and Flutterpaw looked into her mentor's clear eyes as she pinned her. Flutterpaw was made a warrior soon after.
She awoke one morning to the deputy calling together a patrol to deal with a few rogues trying to take territory on ThunderClan territory. She hurried out of the den and was included in the battle group. As they scampered towards the place where the rogues were located, she scented a faintly familiar scent. Drawing closer, she heard hissing of battle.
Ears twitching and claws flexing she felt a large rogue with a familiar scent coming up quickly behind her. She spun around and sliced the rogue's nose.Cleargaze felt air sweep past her ears as a paw tried to cuff her. Anger pumped through her body as she recognized the smell. Her mother. "Remember me?"asked the rogue, her eyes glittering with evil. Fighting more fierce then ever, she bit down on her mother's ear and scratched wildly at her face. She heard her cry out in pain as she drove her claws deep into her eyes. " Is that why you abandoned me? Because I'm blind? She could feel her mother writhing on the ground before her paws. She listened closely, and heard that her brother had fled, limping heavily. As for her sister had been chased onto RiverClan territory in the other direction. She had turned her head to see if she was still being chased, but tripped and rolled into the deep part of the river. Unable to swim, she drown. Her sister was dead. Cleargaze dug her claw into her mother's shoulder and drew a circle. She left her mark; something her mother would remember forever. "Leave!"Cleargaze yowled, anger and grief pounding in her chest. "And don't come back.I hope you feel blind and abandoned...like I did."
Birth
× Cleargaze was born in the very beginning of newleaf. She was born last of her family of three. Her family includes her mother, named Star, and her brother Scratch, and sister Flower. Cleargaze was originally named Petal. Their father was killed by a monster a few days before the kits were born, so they didn't know him.
Dreams
× To be the best warrior she can be and mentor many apprentices; becoming a deputy or eventually leader would be great.
