What o you think!
just write a poem! try to make it yours. sort of a game. sort of.

ok this is one that i had thought up in like 2 seconds becuse i was replying to a thread....

When i turn on a light
Things are bright
i can see
what i need
i can do
anything too
atleast it feels
like your fait is sealed
once you flip
the switch
but
what if
one comes in
and flicks that switch?
then its dark
your fait has stopped
you feel like your life is over
your fun is gone
love will leave
and what are you left with?
sadness
madness
dark
and sad
no light
showing your path

What must you do?
it feels like no one is there
to help you
no one to guide you
no one to love you
Until.
you stick your hand
in your pocket
you have 3 things in your pocket
faith
hope
and a freinds number.

in the other pocket
is three things
the neccesitties
like
belief
in yourself so you can see
that you also need
just one more thing
you pull out
that cross in your pocket
but
there is one more thing in your pocket right!
it is something
that will blind you from the light
it is
a gift
from
the
devil

so when you are able
to flip that switch
always remember
that life is a fable
it will teach you
to use your pockets
everytime
you turn on the light


i dont know about this one, but i did write it.

i stare at the moonlit lake
me and my fur start to shake
the wind makes the water ripple
but not just a little
the waves are crashing on the shore
my bpm soars
one big wave
would pull me away
the end of my life
is in my plain sight
but then it paused
and then it caused
me to think
is this how death is for everything?
a shining light as bright as sun
'please let this be done'
"your time is not up, u have time to run and be free"
came the voice of he
so i ran and ran riping up sod
knowing that i just spoke to god

Lost.
I am Lost,
Lost in thought,
Thinking of the battlefield,
Where I once fought.

I am lost,
Lost in the wound,
it needs to be covered,
And treated very soon.

I am lost,
Lost in this room,
with walls of white,
and the aneseptic fume.

I am lost,
Lost in the scar,
A constant reminder,
of me,
serving the national guard.

I have lived my life
On the moment
Even though
i know
i shouldnt

i have lived my life
Ignoring the fact
That you
Are all i have
To pick me up
When im down

Last night
The fateful site
That Moment
Even though i knew i shouldnt
I left you
And you left me
And went to the only one left
that would let you come to be

Now
At this moment
I stand at the alter
Whipering my words
i know shouldnt have too, i shouldnt
it wouldnt be like this it wouldnt
but it is
What else have i missed

If only i had known
That things can change
By the moment
Even though it shouldnt

Wow I suck at poems so bravo both of you and wow skip that was good! =) you should see my sisters they are amazing but she thinks becoming a poemist doesn't pay much. so...... yeah [poemist lol what kind of a ord is that]

Just you and me,
out on the sand.
The sun starts to fall,
your fingers wrap my hand.

You grasp a twig,
and trace only a part.
Then hand the twig to me,
and I finish drawing a heart.

We draw in our initials,
and the tide starts to rise.
It tickles our toes,
love blazes in our eyes.

I smile at you,
and you smile back.
Our hands are joined together,
then we hear a crack.

A crack of lighting,
it sounds far away.
As long as we have each other,
We'll be okay.

Rain rolls in,
wetting our faces.
We dare not be apart,
not even a few paces.

With your gentle hand,
you wipe away my wet hair.
The moment is right,
although the weather isn't fair.

Your beautiful eyes meet mine,
causing my heart to do flips.
We lean in slightly,
and you gently kiss my lips.

so out of site
my soul
feels so cold
People stare
This isnt fair
All of my life
Has been lived in fright
always had to do things right
make a freind? i might
No one understood
No one should
How it feels
To eat every meal
Wondering
Pondering
On the thought of just being normal
i cant even write in a journal
The tears brought to my eyes
When i cry
Make writing in there
So not worth my time


So i as i walk toward the light
It raises in fright
Becuase im seeing
It darkening
Its so out of site
The light

thank you im not great at poems really, but i like reading em' so i guess thats why im okay at them



grit scratches my palms
As the rain calms
I remain here
as i shed a tear
when i lose the ball
The hoops are tall
I see my target by street lite
i shoot with all my might
'swish'

i rejoice my victory
by continueing my misery
i walk on the cold empty court
i will prove that being short
Doesnt mean
i cant be the star of the team

I hear the chants
this is the my only chance
I throw at the hoops so tall
The net gave the passage for the ball

The buzzer goes off
My hands no longer soft
we won we won!
im lifted off the ground
It just shows you dont have to be tall
To play basketball

I'm normally not good at poems, but if I take hours on making one (like that romantic one above) then they are usually okay. =) Thanks C-I mean Blank. Moonstar! You are a very good at making poems! I don't know how you do it! Alot of yours are very long, and I don' know how someone could ever think of so many rhyming words! =) Thanks again for the award Moonstar.

thanks. . i plan on becoming a journalist an all..
anyways of course blank! that poem was amazing, i cant beleive anyone could bring words together like that!!
my brain is stuck right npw so yeah
