 Disaster after Disaster A giant Hurricane strikes the poor citizens of elgar and tokan. Half of the population is almost wiped out completely, many die from injuries as the hospital has lost most of its power, and room for proper care. Others try to survive and rebuild their destroyed homes, but that doesnt last long. Many human's give up on life itself and leave. Other's stay and fight. Of course no one thought the tsunami would hit as hard as it did. It was a disaster after another. When the tsunami strikes shortly after the hurricane. most of the humans are wiped out except for a few who ride out of town in a bus, the owners leave their dogs behind due to the rules on the buses, and the extra package. It was horrid, but they did what they felt was right. Yet the purebred and house dogs didnt understand. They were thrown away. Like garbage. The purebreds are now left on they're own, to survive with the dogs they used to shun.
Slowly Forgetting
As time moves on the horrible disasters are soon forgotten by most except for the purebreds, the strays live on. Forgetting the past and moving on, or thinking about the future. Sometimes there are arguments between the two seemingly different races of dogs, some try to keep the peace but actually cause more fighting. Those that try have quicker deaths from enemies, others that stay back also die. It's a blood bath on the streets as there are bodies everywhere, now there is chaos, a struggle for power as packs roam the streets on killing sprees. No one knows exactly why or how this little war developed, but now the revenged need a savior so that they can rest in peace.
A new day in age.
War kills and breeds from anger and revenge, those that want to live are killed mercilessly for not being in a pack. Wars break out between packs the city becomes an endless battleground, but every now and again a plane flies over the city. The dogs run forgetting their anger as it turns into terror. The purebreeds stay out of shelter or shade, those that still hope for their owners return wander aimlessly sometimes killing those that stand in they're way. Others just roam the streets, calling out for their beloved owners to come back to them. The strays are now in fear of the purebreeds, for their lust to kill has grown stronger as have the lust for their owners. It's a never ending cycle of terror and fury.
An unsuspected turn..
The strays are now braver as the purebreeds have somehow gone back to normal, but everytime a plane flies over head some of them howl in anguish. But others don't now having fully forgotten what it was meant to be stroked or petted fondly. Each time the purebreds loose their sanity, and after a while soon to learn the life as a stray. Some even have loved a stray, and creating mixed bred litters, and those canine's are the one's who are now shuned. The dogs who dont agree with becoming friends, hate the ones who do. Its a dog eat dog world, and this is the time of day when its the new hell. When dogs are Thrown Away.
While some hope for their return...
More plains fly overhead, some dogs have noticed they have bombs. Elders recall human wars that their elders told them, giant explosions destroying buildings after they touch the ground. More bodies littering the ground like pieces of paper, at first... the strays ignore them as the purebreeds listen, they know how important a simple tale can be or how a life and death situation can all rely on the end. None of them where expecting it, after two disasters they didn't expect this... The Destruction
Fire fell from the sky, as the planes collided over the city. Any that fell would hit the ground and burst into flames, bombs where fired to clear out the area. Men fought on the ground killing each other, dogs ran and hid in the sanskirts. Strays and purebreeds it didn't matter anymore the war was getting out of hand, those that thought they had it under they're control where proved wrong as some strays fought along side the men. Purebreeds stayed back, watching in horrified terror as the bombs destroyed their home once again...
Rebirth at a price.
Dogs died during that day, they fought after one another and they fought everyone. It didn't matter if it was enemy or allies they just fought for the fun and shear joy, those that ran where safe in the sanskirts... Or so they thought. The whole area was infected by the disease, purebreeds where sometimes led into war to happy to have actually met humans again after all those years of being alone. Those that died where left as souls walking waiting for the war to stop... Waiting for peace to reign once again.
A silence....
The war then stopped, the alive troops moved out with a few of the strays that where left alive. Purebreeds came back to their home to find more bodies, more blood, and worse no more humans again. Most of them howled in anguish and fury, while others killed the rest of the strays. But still more where born with the souls of those who where lost to the war, a deafening silence now reigned over them. There was no movements anymore, some dogs enjoyed the silence and took time in finding new homes. They're war was over they had reached peace... For now...
After the long war.
Right now strays are back and somewhat better than before, the purebreeds still miss their owners as usual and some still go on killing sprees. The packs are more peaceful, after a whole year of nothing but war how could they relax? Some dogs wonder that today, but others push it away in their mind there will always be peace. But what they didn't know was that war was lingering... closer than they could tell..
