Nightowl
"I Wanna Be Sedated", Romanos Twenty-twenty-twenty four hours to go, I wanna be sedated Nothing' to do and no where to go-o-oh, I wanna be sedated Just get me to the airport put me on a plane Hurry hurry hurry before I go insane I can't control my fingers I can't control my brain Oh no, no, no no, no...
The camp was peaceful. Cats were sharing tongues in the dry, bright sunrise and sharing their prey. Some emerged from their dens, padding over to their friends. If you had been watching the river, you would see a prisms of colors, varying from many shades of red and a light orange. The last of the stars disappeared just as she awoke.
The patrol had already left for the morning, leaving her to find something to do for herself. She, being herself, decided to go find a comfortable spot where no one would bother her and dream. In her dreams she could do what she wanted, she dreamed of leaving RiverClan, her home, and going on wonderful adventures. She would run from the largest foxes and badgers and fight the most horrid rogues. But Nightowl knew this would never happen.
Throughout her life she had seeked adventure. he had, of course, gotten it when she was a kit but as a warrior life had seemed so terribly dull. It seemed like the camp was writhing with excitement while Nightowl waited, fidgeting, for her adventure. It never seemed to come.
As she waited, one of her friends, Violetstream padded over and nudged Nightowl. Quit it. She purred. Are you there? She asked when Nightowl didn't respond. She shook her head. Then, purring, she rose and asked what Violetstream wanted. I wanted to see whether you would go hunting or not. I'm pretty sure that the prey's running really well, I can just feel it! Violetstream's eyes glittered with untold emotions. She was in faze two today. Optimism.
Nightowl shook her head. I'm not feeling very well. She lied, angry at herself for lying. I think I might rest a while before doing anything. She added. Violetstream nodded. I'll ask someone else, then! She mewed, literally prancing off, her tail waving behind her. Now Nightowl was thoroughly bored.

Silverbell Don't judge a book by it's cover A petite-looking silver tabby she-cat was looking around the camp clearing, trying to find somthing to do. Sure, she could go hunting for forest prey or fish, or even go swimming, but... Though swimming was usually her answer for everything, she didn't feel like going alone. Not today, at least. Her icy gray-blue gaze swept across the camp, unsucesfully finding any lone RiverClan cats looking for attention. Sighing, she turned towords the Warrior's den and entered. Inside, there was only one cat, a she-cat at that, laying in her bed of moss. The silver tabby trod up to the other she-cat she knew as Nightowl. They had been Clanmates for a while, sience birth, so they should have known each other pretty well, right? Wrong! Silverbell hardly knew this cat, but just the same she acted like they had been friends for years. Hiah Nightowl! she mewed. I'm bored. Wanna go to the Eastern part of RiverClan with me to swim in the willow place's water? If you don't stir the water too much it's really clear and fun. Silverbell smiled at the other cat patiently, and sat down next to her. Suddendly, one of her paws hurt a little bit, so she lifted it up to examine it. A thorn. But how did a thorn get in the Warrior's Den? Hmm... Could another cat have brought it in? Oh well. With a small grimace, she grabbed the top of the thorn and pulled it out with her teeth. She spat it out some distance away and licked her pad a few times before returning to her sitting posistion. She purred at Nightowl, and waited for her reply.

Nightowl was about to dart off into her own imaginary world when a silver she-cat entered the den. Nightowl felt ashamed at herself for not knowing the she-cats name- until she remembered. It was Silverbell. She didn't know Silverbell very well, but she knew that she was a kind cat. Silverbell spoke. Hiya Nightowl! I'm bored. Wanna go to the Eastern part of RiverClan with me to swim in the willow place's water? If you don't stir the water too much it's really clear and fun. Silverbell smiled at her and waited for her return. Nightowl thought to herself, It's never to late to get to know another cat better and replied. Sure, and you're right, it's a wonderful place! She answered cheerily. Oh, what a cliche choice of words, Nightowl, she thought.

OOC:Tee hee hee! Tonight at 11:30/midnight I'm going to Borders to celebrate Breaking Dawn... So happy! Long awaited book... ^^ It's at every Borders, I think, so you can go if you read the Twilight series, too! IC:
Silverbell Don't judge a book by it's cover The silver tabby relaxed a little more when Nightowl replied in a kind fashion. Her blue-gray eyes closed as her smile widened, and she purred with happiness. Getting up, she trotted towords the Warrior Den's entrance. When she was there, she turned to look at Nightowl. C'mon, then! she chirped. Let's go! With that, she exited into the clearing. The sunlight shone through the trees and caressed Silverbell's pelt, causing it to take on an almost gray-orange color. The she-cat didn't seem to notice, not really. She instead just kept her pace for a while, untill she grew slightly bored again. (ooc: this is only if Nightowl has followed, not trying to powerplay! ic:) Slowing slightly, she turned her head around to look at Nightowl. So... she started. Um, we haven't talked much, have we? But that's ok. I just want to know somthing about you. What's your favorite color? Silverbell knew that you could tell a lot about a cat by their favorite color. Mine is the color of the moon shining down through the water. It's even prettier when you're underwater and you look up at it! The she-cat paused for a brief moment, catching her breath. It was hard to go at a jog while making conversation- or trying to, at least. She had turned her head back to face the direction she was going now, because she almost had hit a tree earlier, not because she wanted to be rude... After a bit of this, Silverbell decided that she was getting thirsty. Her eyes looked around untill she could see a small puddle of water. Skipping over, she called out I'm gonna take a quick drink. You thirsty? She motioned to the puddle with her tail, in case Nightowl was, in fact, thirsty. When she got there, she bent her tiny head down and lapped up the water. It wasn't as sweet as some water, but it still quenched her thirst. Once satisfied, she rolled around in a bit of dirt. She was having so much fun that she almost forgot Nightowl was there. With a bit or reluctance and a bit of sheepishness, she got up and shook herself off, waiting for Nightowl to decide what to do next.

ooc;; I went, of course I'm sure it wasn't the same one you went to. But it was cool- I went with a few of my friends that read the Twilight series. Dad wouldn't let me get it because I couldn't pay for it (I have to buy my own extras- like cell phone, etc, not food or stuff. ) Toby said it's great so far. Nightowl purred lightly, narrowing her eyes. Silverbell stood and left the den, pausing only to say, Come on, then! Let's go!. Nightowl stood, shaking off bits of moss that clung to her thick, curled pelt. She followed Silverbell until she caught up with her, matching her pace paw for paw. The silence was to much for Nightowl to bear, especially when there was a cat next to her who seemed as if she wanted to speak. She was grateful when Silverbell broke the silence. So... she began. Um, we haven't talked much, have we? But that's ok. I just want to know somthing about you. What's your favorite color? Nightowl found this question surprising- she wondered why Silverbell had asked. Mine is the color of the moon shining down through the water. It's even prettier when you're underwater and you look up at it! Nightowl wasn't surprised, for she knew that Silverbell loved to swim more than the other RiverClan cats; Nightowl prefered wading in the water or watching the sunset over the lake and the tall evergreens of ShadowClan. I love the colors of spring, the bright greens of the newly grown herbs and plants and the almost smooth color of the sky in the afternoon- I love all colours, especially the purples and oranges of the sky when it sets over the lake and the dark evergreens. They're all so.... enchanting, for search of a better word. She hoped she haddn't gone over with the colors, for when Violetstream had asked she had looked as if Nightowl hadn't answered the question properly. I mean, I guess my personal favorite would have to be a deep, dark purple, seeimingly mysterious and lovely... She sighed. There was a pause when Silverbell asked if she cared whether she got a drink. Shaking her head distractedly, she thought of colours now. The greens and pinks of spring, the reds and oranges of the setting sun, and the dark colours of summer. Feeling off, she followed Silverbell to the puddle and drank deeply, thinking of the muddy puddle and her own face reflected in it.
