Hello everyone, I wanted to get some oppinions on a recent project of mine. I've been designing graphics for three years, and I use GIMP and wouldn't trade it for anything <3 I don't use a tablet, and even though I have one I still don't use it. :-P And what I work with the most, is horses as that's what I roleplay the most. Anyway, my most recent project has been learning how to colorize horses. Where I take a horse, and completely change it's color. And this was my second attempt, and I think it turned out ok. But I'm trying to get as much input as possible. It used to be a light bay horse, and well, obviously it's not anymore x^D So it's pretty easy to see what I changed. What do you guys think? I would like brutal critique please ;-) Don't say anything good without having something bad to say, unless you don't know anything about graphics anyway x^D

Oh, I also drew in the blue eye, added the markings, and smudged the main and tail.

Cool! That's pretty good---I didn't notice that you manipulated! The marks are really smooth and what you've done with the smudge tool is fantastic. And really realistic. I don't think I have anything bad to say.

It looks pretty nice-- really smooth. (:
The tail and spots are bugging me a bit. I wouldn't left the tell and the spots don't blend into the brown to well.
Still pretty good though! ;D |

The tail's a bit wonky, and the spots are a bit unrealistic, but otherwise it's terrific! The eye turned out really well, excellent job.

OMG I have to say AMAZING I know I'm not the best either. I do manipulations to so I'm not gonna say anything other then The tail is a bit squiggle but I LOVE THE EYES! =3 =] good job! |

EEE! Another fellow horse-lover! XD I really liked the mane and the face. The spots were blended well too. The tail is the only thing I can see that needs work. Its a little thin and wispy.

So, pretty good overall, although I can't back that up, I'm not even past stick figures so i don't really knwo what's good.
I was going to say the spots look a little painted on, but everyone beat me to it, but I'll say it anyways:
The spots looked kind of painted-on.
But if there was one thing I could criticize you on, here it is:
