Pouncetooth let out a chuckle before neatly dodging out of the way. It was laughable that this stupid furball thought that she was any match for a clan cat, and a Shadowclan cat at that. Shadowclan had some of the strongest and most sly cats in the forest. "Then why can't you fight like a real cat?" He insisted, with a tone of teasing humor. After feeling the sting of slashing claws on his pelt he shifted away from the she-cat. The few scratches he had obtained stung only slightly, he was turned away from the battle. As he turned to face the she-cat his gaze was dark and deadly, he really couldn't be bothered wasting his energy on a she-cat so pitiful, but if she insisted. "So you wants to see a real cat fight then do you?" He bellowed, his claws slid out like knives.
He snarled and jumped for the she-cat, his claws cut through the air like the razors they were, they would soon be ripping through the she-cats pelt like razor's. "How do you like me now kittypet." He snarled. He knew that when he got into fights he often lost control of his actions, usually just slashing at any enemy cat who came withing a fox length of where he was fighting. His claws were sharp and experienced, no match for some cats. "You know you fight like a newly named apprentice." He insisted, with a little chuckle. He hated these stupid spoiled kittypets, always getting food put out for them whenever they called, they wouldn't last a day in the forest, having to fend for themselves and catch their food. Like it would be hard to cats a tin of liquid slop.

Chasm gasped as Cherry yowled in pain. Red blood spurted thickly from her side flank, and she collapsed. Slashing out in defense, she had not even pinned her ears back. Stupid furball! Always... gotta... save... grrrrah! The last part turned to a screech or reality as Chasm launched herself into battle. Gripping Cherry delicately, she did a neat tuck-and-roll. The force of the launch and the roll sent Cherry flying, Chasm released at just the right moment. Cherry and her blood-stained pelt flopped down into a soft patch of clovers. "Couldn't you see she was a harmless kittypet?" Chasm screeched as she lunged - amazingly well for a kittypet, with skill and tactic like a warrior somewhat out of practice - and attempted to land atop the tomcat. She slashed with her claws, she wanted to flip him over. She fought like a warrior, in heart and soul, each skill and move almost perfect. Like a newly named warrior. She slashed again, hoping to rake the tom's pelt and feel blood for the first time on her claws.

ECLIPSE .x. because.you.live&&breath. Staring out at the rain with a heavy heart It's the end of the world in my mind Then your voice calls me back like a wake up call I've been looking for the answer Somewhere I couldn't see that it was right there But now I know what I really know
”Father? What are we going to do today? Training can be so fun sometimes! So what are we doing? Faaattttthhhhhherrrr?!” squeaked a high-pitched voice. Tiny claws scraped the ground in excitement as a kit hopped around a larger tomcat—his eyes were wide with happiness. No, he didn’t want what was about to happen. So innocent and so very young it was unbelievable but very much true. The fluffy grey kit trotted forward to gaze at his father’s expression, puzzlement etched across his face since the bigger tom hadn’t yet replied to him. The maniacal look in his father’s eyes told him everything, Eclipse shrank away quite afraid and didn’t say anything more, finally they reached the little hollow where they trained. Battle training to be exact. The larger grey tabby turned to look at his son, his eyes blazing with an insane look and without warning he leapt toward Eclipse with claws outstretched. Taken by surprise the kit wasn’t quick enough to jump out of the way, just as he fell onto the ground his father bit his paw. Eclipse, thinking he was just helping him get up by pulling it a little, smiled in gratefulness. Instead Blaze’s mouth opened to speak to him.
[/b] Because you live and breathe Because you make me believe in myself when nobody else can help Because you live, girl My world has twice as many stars in the sky
[/color] “I trained you too long for you not to know how to jump!” His father growled menacingly then added rather harshly, “You need to be punished!” Eclipse’s eyes widened immensely but he didn’t say anything. Ever since his mother left his father he had been insane and this little kit was the only left to feel Blaze’s crazy wrath. As Eclipse’s mesmerizing sapphire blue eyes focused on what his father would do next he felt that his voice was gone—locked away deep within his throat. Where had it gone? Why wasn’t he crying? He struggled at first to yowl in alarm but still nothing came… then something gruesome happened.
Blaze clamped hard around Eclipse’s paw and whipped his head side to side, intense pain raked the kit’s body, blood oozed out of this ring of fire his father was creating, he wanted to scream but his voice had died in his throat. Crimson liquid drenched his leg and the sand below them, Eclipse felt the rest of his legs grow weaker, and he had to try to stop his eyes from closing. His legs buckled and he crashed to the ground, some of the droplets of sticky red blood fell against his face since his Blaze refused to let go until ‘he learned his lesson.’ It's alright, I survived, I'm alive again Cuz of you, made it though every storm What is life, whats the use if your killed inside I'm so glad I found an angel Someone Who was there when all my hopes fell I wanna fly, looking in your eyes
Pain. Pain. Pain. Pain.
Eclipse opened his mouth but any cry that would have been made came in silence—then his bloody paw fell to the ground and the fluffy grey tabby kit lay there panting. He squinted up at his father who stood above him; his expression was crazed then before anything was said Blaze stumbled away and through the bushes surrounding the hollow. His son closed his eyes and continued to heave in breaths… when he opened his eyes again everything was hazy. All he saw was red, red, red, and some more red. The ruby liquid encircled his paw, Eclipse’s ears twitched with confusion before he was tempted into the depth darkness tugging on the back of his mind. The kit slipped into it and there was complete nothingness. All thoughts were lost in the tide of black.
Because you live and breathe Because you make me believe in myself when nobody else can help Because you live, girl My world has twice as many stars in the sky Because you live, I live
Moons and moons later that same kit lay in some grass, his eyelids half covering his eyes, and a light smile on his face. He looked very much handsome and had a pretty neat figure since he was older now but a bracelet-like scar still clung to his paw. Eclipse rolled over so his underbelly was exposed to the warm sunny air, he exhaled deeply, and his smile increased. The blue sky above was bright and beautiful making this wonderful day even more comfortable. He had survived and had left his father and now he was free. Free to do whatever he pleased… however… he still had trouble unlocking his voice from the chest deep within his heart. Saying his name was fine but everything else was a bit troublesome, unless it was urgent of course. When he spoke though it always seemed he knew the right thing to say and his voice was like the ripping of a lake’s surface, smooth and very warm-hearted. Eclipse cocked his head to the side as an image of a beautiful white feline filled his mind, he had seen her before on an arrogant fence-- she was so kind looking and he just had a sudden urge to want to know her. It was sort of strange. He remembered her appearance well though; her fur was so white it could probably rival the sparkling color of fresh fallen snow. She also had a slim, neat figure. {{My soon to come kittiy- IVORY}}The fluffy grey tabby tom let her drift away from his grasp as he closed his eyes to rest; he was currently hungry and knew he’d have to go into the Marketplace area to get a bit to eat. At the thought of food his stomach made a soft rumble, Eclipse sighed before curling his tail closer to his body and letting his mind rest. Because you live there's a reason why I carry on when I lose the fight I want to give what you've given me always

sorry lost all pounce tooth muse for a while.
Pouncetooth snarled at the she-cat who spoke up to him. "Couldn't you see that she was asking for it?" He hissed. He felt the weight of the she-cat on his back and he twisted his body in protest. Her claws managed to rake his pelt but not before he rolled onto his back and onto his paws again hoping to dislodge the she-cat claws. Her moves were impressive but they needed to be polished off a bit more, polished to perfection. Ok, she was a natural at the whole fighting thing, but it wasn't perfect. It was a good attempt on her part after all. How would he explain his wounds to his clan mates without them finding out where he had been. He would say he had chased a loner from the border, and that they had wanted a fight, so he had given him one, resulting in fatality. He would say that he had buried the body, so no further complications would be made.
He knew he was out of his depth here and he would not let his clan find out what he had actually been doing even if his life depended on it. He would not admit to what he had been doing. However, if this little she-cat turned up then it would cause problems. He would say the rogue had a friend with him, who had fled when he asked. Things would work out, and his reputation would be safe. "I don't just sit back when a cat attacks me." He spat defensivley. It was all he knew to fight back when attacked, it would probably be the death of him one day, but clearly not today.

Chasm released, sitting up and licking a forepaw as if nothing had happened. "You fight pretty well for a strange forest cat." She said with a smile. "Cherry's just a stupid little kittypet. Trust me, she's probably easier to kill than a scrap of fake fur." Chasm smiled jokingly. Then she remembered her friend. "Mind helping me get her to the door of her den, I mean, since you were the one who totally messed her up. She'll be okay in a minute. She is always picking fights with others. Never with someone who has half a brain, though." Chasm stood, stretching, and quickly bolted to her friends side. Cherry was a lot more red now, and her breathing was troubled. With a sigh, Chasm picked up her friends scruff and began dragging her, hoping the strange tom would come and help.
