s e r e n e chaos nothing compares to, a queit evening alone just the one, two i was counting on that never happens, i guess i'm dreaming again lets be more than, this i am me. nobody will ever change that. I'll be with you forever....
The oh-so familiar voice blown away by the wind, again. It happened so fast, it was so random, that to hear it would've been a miracle. But, if it appeared some feline had heard it, no emotion was expressed. Surely an ear would twitch? Or maybe a skull would shoot up, confused at the sudden melodic words? No, not a movement, everything was motionless, frozen beneath a deathly curtain of time.
Could anyone take this any longer? Was it only she that could stand it? The tension was so apparent, every muscle was tensed, ready for some unexpected terror of an enemy to jump out from the bushes. Yet, no living soul showed their emotions. It was deathly silent, though a distinct roaring was heard. No, no more would she watch them suffer. It was not right for one to have to do this to their emotions, to hide them away as if they were non-existant.
What would grab their attention? These felines were different than any others she had ever seen. Their eyes were vivid in color, so breath-taking, so beautiful. Yet, so deadly and despairing. Back to the first question, what would grab their attention? Maybe a yowl? Or attack? Oh, oh no, you would mine as well drown yourself.
Though she thought all these "heroic" things, Serenechaos couldn't bring herself to move a fraction away from the place she was carved to. Think of the voice, think of the voice... She reminded herself inwardly, yes, that voice promised hope and happiness. It was a beam of light spilling out of the dark. And yet it was such an inspirition, hope could be broken quickly. Why am I thinking so...so darkly??? Serenechaos asked herself inside her own mind.
After contemplating the question, she had decided one answer and only that answer was logical. Well, not exactly logical but in her twisted mind it was somehow a ray of sunshine on a cloudly day. "The cats." Serenechaos breathed under her breath, maybe even more silent than that voice she heard a while ago. Which wrapped her up once again in her thoughts, the voice, the strange cats...
Blackness. No hope, no sunshine. Then pairs of eyes, lavender eyes. They're probing my mind! Somehow Serenechaos managed to think one last thought before snapping into an endless agony. In some state of physical being, she threw her head back and parted her jaws to let out a yowl, but nothing came. Instead she saw the cats closer and closer, staring at her, threatening her sanity.
"Why are you doing this?!" Serenechaos's voice filled with hysteria before they completely closed in. Closing her eyes, the she-cat prepared for the strand of her life to be cut short, begging for it to be easy. Will it hurt? Oh Sta- Somehow, Serenechaos couldn't even think the name in this wretched place. It left her mind. Struggling to hold on to something, anything, her veins were electrified and then she was gone as quickly as she came.
"Leave now!" A glorious, strict, furious voice of authority growled suddenly. Serenechaos couldn't tell if this was a dream or if she was in StarClan, or maybe nothing was even real-ever. But it was real, she knew. She could feel a presence, no more than one. These presences were comforting, sweet, marvelous, blissful. Though the apparent leader spoke as if he were about to pounce like a lion-and kill. And then, the evil cats were gone and Serenechaos "opened" her eyes.
Glorious cats, stars seemed to burst from their pelts, were surrounding her. A frail, insignificant soul. As if her very existance mattered whatsoever to them. "Why-" But they somehow knew her question, and silenced her without even moving. One of these beautiful cats, apparently the oldest, came to her. He pressed his muzzle to hers-almost lovingly. Then, with a look of complete love, he was gone. The rest were too. Serenechaos sighed blissfully, yet she was filled with fear. A sweet voice murmured, Go to sleep. And then she was back to "sleep."
Her eyes flew open alarmingly, afraid she was with the evil cats. She wasn't, she was in her den; the RiverClan Medicine Cat's den. Lilapaw was curled up sleeping in the corner and all was as it had been before. Serenechaos couldn't even think of how to comprehend the dream. She just cried softly, there was no other answer. Then she imagined the tom, he had protected her personally. Her emotions. Serenechaos was torn up, her senses, her emotions, her thoughts, everything. Nothing made sense anymore, nothing. Though, somehow StarClan would pull her through. Then a shocking thought entered the back of her mind, Would StarClan be a strong enough force to stop them? It was too scary, too impossible. No, too hopeless. With that, Serenechaos lay her head on the cold rocks and sobbed relentlessly without shame.
