r a v e n w i n g Closed off from love I didn't need the pain Once or twice was enough And it was all in vain Time starts to pass Before you know it you're frozen Paws stretched forward along the ground, inching closer and closer to the furry body of a squirrel. Sitting just tail lengths away from a small black tom the squirrel was nibbling on a acorn. The deep blue eyes of the raven colored body stared at the squirrel. The times clouded with mystery as he inched forward toward the prey. Ravenwing could almost feel the taste of blood as he slowly inched forward. Being downwind the squirrel couldn't scent him. And Ravenwing was hiding nicely along beside a bush. The breeze suddenly changed direction. The squirrel suddenly stopped eating the acorn. Fluffing it's tail it darted away having scented Ravenwing. Streaking after it Ravenwing carelessly ran not knowing where he was going. Soon the lithe body of the tom pounced as he landed with the squirrel between his paws. Quickly ending the furry creatures life with a bite he sent a silent prayer to Starclan.
Ravenwing fought the urge to eat it right then and there, he had to feed the clan first. Putting dirt over the squirrel he let himself focus on his surroundings. Slowly he kept padding thorough the forest. Had that stupid squirrel scared of all the prey. Hissing in frustration at the thought. A crow shot upward in front of him as it got scared of the prey. Ravenwing scolded himself for not scenting the prey and for making it scared. Now all the prey will go and hide. Pouncing with all the strength of his back legs he let his unsheathed claws dig into the black bird's body. Brining it down to the ground he ended its life. Quickly picking it up he returned to his spot where the other prey was. The scent wafted in to Ravenwing's nose but he ignored it as his belly gave a arrogant grumble. Turning away he walked for quite some time. He was done hunting, It's not like there would be any more prey in the forest since that crow.
Sitting down on one of the hills, the tom curled his tail around him and looked up with his sapphire pearls in to the sky. Almost Motionless fluffy clouds floated by with each second passing by. Sitting down Ravenwing looked toward Silverpelt. imagining Flightbird, and Maskedheart looking down on him the tom gave a smile that was extremely rare. The thought of there faces quickly disappeared and the tom looked down at his paws. He would have to take the fresh kill back but he didn't feel like leaving. He needed sometime on his own. And who cared if another cat came? It's not like he would talk. Would he?
But something happened For the very first time with you My heart melts into the ground Found something true And everyone's looking round Thinking I'm going crazy

[Just then Fieldstep barged in.]
"Heya! You look disappointed to see me. Expecting a she-cat to show up instead?"
Fieldstep decided this might be the wrong approach, and he was here to make a friend, after all...
"Heh. Joke. Anyway, nice catch you got there! How'd you get a crow?"
He padded over and nudged the bird with his paw.
"That takes some skill..."
With a great effort he restrained from mentioning his own special hunting talent. Last time he had...well, he had learned a bit more about delicacy since then.

occ: Thanks! I wanted to RP more, even though my characters would result in being two places at a time then...xD By the way, sorry this was a short post.
Cirruscloud padded slowly towards the middle of Windclan. She heard the noise of her clan mates chatting beside her. She decided to join in.
"That takes some skill"
She saw a quite plump crow laying dead on the ground She nudged it with her nose as she joined them. "Good job, Ravenwing!" her eyes twinkled with delight as she looked from face to face with the other warriors. Would they accept me even though I wasn't clanborn?

r a v e n w i n g Letting his gaze drift slightly the cat looked across the skies to silverpelt. His expression was blank as he stared at where his ancestors lived among the stars. Sighing deeply he turned and padded back to his fresh kill. Picking it up he carried the crow, and squrriel back toward the way of camp. As he padded along he stared dreamily making himself stumble over branches. Picking up his pace he trotted in to the clearing. Looking around he walked to the fresh kill pile and dumped his belongings in. Good Job, Ravenwing. Turning around the tom met the eyes of Cirruscloud another new comer to the clan, he had heard she wasn't clanborn but hey that was better then being half riverclan and half windclan. Most cats took it upon themselves to remind him this but really he didn't care anymore, he simply didn't even care about his life.
Ever since Maskedheart and Flightbird had gone the tom had been in a haze, but recently he had been having dreams about a she-cat with clear blue eyes. She smelled from Thunderclan. Ravenwing didn't know why she kept popping up in his dreams but it freaked him out. Was Starclan sending a sign to him perhaps? Maybe he should meet this cat? Who knows maybe someday he will find them. He smiled thoughtfully wondering when the next gathering would be.
Ravenwing then noticed Cirruscloud was still their, in front of him. "Thanks." Ravenwing muttered. He didn't use a angry tone just he barley spoke up. Sighing Ravenwing curled his tail around himself picking up a paw to lick it. Looking tot he fresh kill pile he grabbed a plump vole, as it looked well stocked and the clan looked well fed. Taking a bite he then chewed before looking up at Cirruscloud and pawing the vole toward her. "Want to share?" He asked. He was trying to be friendly after all. It's not like he wanted to be known as that weird warrior that doesn't talk at all. Sighing he looked up at Cirruscloud waiting for the she-cat's response.

Cirruscloud... "A little giggle during the most ferocious of storms won't hurt. It will only bring the sun closer to home."
Cirruscloud flicked her tail back and forth, eyes glowing with pleasure. She's always found some kind of thing that cheered her up eversince she joined the clan, but hey, that doesn't mean that she has nothing to mourn about. Oh, this little she-cat had more things to be griefstriken than the stars of Silverpelt!
"Thanks." the tom muttered. "Want to share?"
"Of course!" Cirruscloud exclaimed, a little surprised. She's always doubted any Windclan cats would ever want to share with her. After all, she wasn't clan-born unlike the others. "R-Ravenwing...thank you."the pure white cat stammered. "I should hunt something for you in return next time!"
The breeze ruffled her fur, and was making her mouth dry until it hurt to speak. Therefore, she spoke no more and sniffed the air as she awaited Ravenwing's response.
"Rabbit." she mewed quietly. Not wanting to wait for Ravenwing to say yes or no to her proposal to hunt for him, she dashed out inot the open moor, chasing the rabbit at an incredibly high speed. You could've sworn she was just a blur of white fur in the air; it was like she was flying.
Catching up on the rabbit, she muttered under her breath, "Just a little bit closer...and I gotcha!" The young warrior had leaped across a ditch, landing just in front of the running prey who was too mouse-brained to notice. She had siezed the rabbit by its neck before it can escape, and was proud of how plump it was.
Padding back to Ravenwing, she mewed to him gleefully, "Here! Take this rabbit. It'll be my way of repaying you." Assuming that he didn't know how important his act was to her, she sat down and continued eating.

r a v e n w i n g Looking back down at the vole he sighed. He looked back up at the white she-cat's answer. "No problem." He stared at her with his blue eyes trying to have a thoughtful face. "No I can hunt for myself I'm fine." The tom didn't mean it to come out mean but really he could hunt for himself it's not like he needed a caretaker or something after all he was out of the nursery and he should be acting like the warrior he was. Ravenwing glanced sharply around before the breeze set in and a scent caught his tongue, Rabbit. Perhaps not a mili-second later Cirruscloud said this then dashed off.
Deciding to wait for Cirruscloud Ravenwing stretched out and yawned. The dreaming nights he had had were keeping him from getting a good sleep. Sitting down he curled his tail around him and picked up a paw daintily to lick. The sun was starting to come up and it shone lightly one the midnight black fur of the tom's coat. Grabbing a nibble of the vole he chewed contentedly trying to savor it then he gulped.
Ravenwing looked up to see Cirruscloud appearing with a plump rabbit. When she dropped it and talked Ravenwing a node trying to be polite. "T-Thank you...." He trailed of staring down at the rabbit before quickly getting to work and chomping it up. Once he was done he sat up, that filled his belly but it couldn't restore those sleepless nights. He looked down and watched Cirruscloud eat with his blue eyes as he wondered what to do.

Starbright sprints down the hill uncertainly like there is something on her mind and barely notices the others in the middle of the field. She stops suddenly by the other cats and lets out a big breath. Starbright turns her head and notices the others for the first time. "Oh, hi!" Starbright says startled. She takes another quick breather and looks up at the sky her bright blue eyes glistening in the light.

~ c i r r u s | c l o u d ~ "Oh, hi!" says a voice from behind.
"Kyaah!" Cirruscloud squeaked, startled, and made a skittish little jump. She looked behind her to find one of her clanmate looking up at the sky. It was Starbright. The snow-white she-cat could only look down sheepishly.
Cirruscloud had recently joined WindClan, so she didn't know all of the cats' scents yet, so she wasn't able to detect whom was whom by their smell, and therefore she wasn't expecting Starbright when she approached her. The warrior's eyes glistened a dazzling color. Her eyes are colored like mine, thought Cirrucloud.
The thought took her back to Silverfeather, her long-lost beloved sister. Silverfeather and she had so much in common, making her have thoughts like this, yet they had so much that was so completely different. Memories came flooding back, engulfing her as she remnisced about her past. It seemed so long ago, as if it occured when she was a kit though it only happened a season or two ago. The stream of memories carried her away, and soon she found herself daydreaming in LaLaLand once again. She snapped out of it, shaking her head as her dull, wondrous eyes shined again with life. A tint of depression could be easily seen through the pupils and so could a sprinkle regret, despite all Cirruscloud's efforts to hide it. Her eyes were big and round, and the first thing you'll notice when you meet Cirruscloud is her expressiveness - her dramatic, hyper and unexpecting character, and her eyes that told it all - what she was thinking, how she felt, and all sorts of things. From her eyes right now, you can make only a glimpse at her round pupil and almost instaneously her story would reveal itself before you. You could see the pain, the hope, the determination. You could view a quick run-through of her long journey, and find influences of her lost sister.
Cirruscloud tried hard to hide all of that, but of course she couldn't. It was too much for her to bear. It was so much easier to let it all out, pouring it out and let soak into the ground as it slowly dries other than to keep it all in, for soon it will be too heavy to hold and it'll just bring you down. Of course, it is easy to think the opposite, and it is rather easy at the beginning of all of that, but when the bucket becomes too heavy of regrets, worry and sorrow and other pain, you'll soon have your regrets.
The young white cat looked up. She mewed, "You're welcome," to Ravenwing and faced Starbright, a bit embarressed. "Hiya!" she mewed, trying to be enthusiastic, "You startled me!"

Starbright turned to face Cirruscloud and thought about her day. Well there wasn't much to think about, just running most of the time. She was surprised that she actually ran into some cats. 'Maybe we'll be friends.' Starbright thought hopefully. It has been awhile she had someone to talk to. "I didn't mean to startle you." Starbright mewed. "You actually startled me a little bit. I've been running around all day and haven't ran into anybody at all." She said quietly. As the breeze picked up a little, she felt her fur ruffle and then looked at her paws nervously. Starbright seemed uncertain, she usually isn't bad around other cats, but why out of all time now.
