It was a blissful sunny day for once and I couldn't help but purr in satisfaction. Right now I was sprawled out on one of the few rocks in the WindClan camp. The sun was currently blazing hot having it been about halfway thorough the day. My ebony coat was absorbing every single ray of light and warming not only my fur but also the inside of me. I had slept a bit late today after last night. Cleargaze. The sweet sound of the name popped thorough my head. I felt shame suddenly wash over me. Sure I hadn't crossed the boundary but I had been friendly-Ok a little to friendly to a Thunderclan warrior. And worse yet I had sneaked out during night so now I was a little drowsy.
Currently I wasn't only sun bathing but I was also waiting for my apprentice-Shatteredpaw. I knew this would be a good thing. I think. Having an apprentice keep me busy so I wouldn't think of-that cat. But I could feel the urge in the back of my head that thrust forward wanting me to sprint to the Thunderclan border. Pushing the urge to the back of my head I concentrated on imagining a wonderful training day with my new apprentice. Pushing myself up onto my hunches I picked up a paw and licked it as I glanced around the camp. She should be coming soon. I think. Sliding down the rock I grunted. Putting my front feet out I lifted my back leg and stretched. Oh that feels good. Sitting down on the flat grass I looked around before curling my tail around me. Shatteredpaw should be coming soon. Getting up I started to pace trying to calm myself. I mean what would I do? What would Shatteredpaw think of me? I waited silently as I listened to my paws squash against the moor.
