Riflebird [rifle]
The lanky red tom sat in the sunlight of sunhigh jsut outside the warriors den, soaking in the heat. He wore a relaxed expression, and his limbs were totally free from pressure, but his head rang with so much change that he had decided to take the morning off. Fisrt of all, it was his only his 7 moon in the clan and as a father. He didn't remember much that night when he was supposed to see Morphine again, though he knew for sure that she had had their kits. But in the shadowy memorie, he didn't remember ever seeing Morphine, only hearing her voice as she called goodbye to him. She left him a kit though, his kit of their two kits. He had named her Twig, after all she had been clutching to a low bush twig when he had discovered her. She had smelt of Morphine and milk, and her red spots over her body and confirmed his suspicions. So now he was a father. And as a father, he had then carried his kit back to the camp that Solareclipse had shown him, where he had been pledged a Thunderclan cat and given a new name. Basically they added the word bird to the end. When he arrived with his little daughter, another queen had just given birth nad gladly riased her. They also modified Twig's name a little bit, by adding kit to the end of it. And so Twigkit had grown up, becomeing Twigpaw, and Riflebird studied hard as the mentors taught their apprentices. So now they were Riflebird and Twigpaw, and his life was different.
Riflebird had fit into the clan well, if only at first they were all a little wary of his scent. But soon he mingeled between the rest of his clan mates, and now he was apart of the clan. He had already known how to fight to keep himself safe, and his scenting was growing better with every moon. His hunting skills were a little muttled, scince he was used to the variety during his wanderings, but he didn't mind the taste of mouse and thrush and bird and other things of woodland nature. The only thing he didn't quite understnad as well was the differences between clans. There was Thunderclan, his clan, Shadowclan, their watched neighbor, Windclan, their other friendlier neighbor, and Riverclan, who lived across the lake with more streams and such. Riflebird's long red tail twitched in the sun as he remembered the names of each clan, but soon he let his thoughts fall away nad he enjoyed the sunshine a bit. Things weren't that bad he supposed. And Twigpaw's life was definately one he would have wanted for her anyway. She seemed to like it, but then again, she hadn't even known any life that was different. And Riflebird wanted to keep it that way. The less she knew about her sad past, the better.
So now Rifle sat peacefully under the sunlight in the hollow, watching the camp go along as it always had, waiting for something to occur on this quiet, slow and peaceful day.

"You know they are hurt when you cant even make them S M I L E"
;;The smell of blood. It's stench filling his nostrils, making him gag. The red scarlet drops dripping off the dark cat's claws............ The dream tortured Tumblepaw in unimaginable ways. HE could not look at anything without seeing the three cats,l their deadly gaze right on him. He was only an apprntice. Why did he even get these dreams!? Nothing made sense. There were so many more things loaded on his mind than the normal cat!
;; Rifle. Now known as Riflebird. He came to Thunderclan, originally a loner. He borught a kit with him. Tumblepaw, and the rest of the clan, were surprised when Froststar actually let him in. Thunderclan has a history of housing any cat, but even this was a surprise. It didnt matter now, Riflebird is obviously dedicated. He was a caring father. The big white cat flashed in front of him. His eyes sad. Tumblepaw shook his head violently. This isnt right! The white tom and deep black she-cat were on his mind too much. And the strange resemblance of the cat with the bloody claws shook him more. These cats couldnt be from Starclan. Their dark shadowy gazes told him that even if they were Starclan, they werent the firendly ones.
;; Riflebird was a seasoned member of Thunderclan. His son was an Apprentice beside Tumblepaw. Tumblepaw appraoched the warrior. Tumblepaw never had a chance to speak with the cat. Now was a good time. "Hello, Riflebird. It seems we have both been cursed with boredom." He chuckled. Life around here was nearly always boring and uneventful. It was nice to spurt up a conversation every once and a while.
"Why not just reach? Take a stand. Be their crying S H O U L D E R"

Riflebird Riflebird jerked awake from his dreamily thoguhts. Tumblepaw had emerged from the apprentice's den not too far away, roaming over and droping a few friendly words. Rifle listened quietly and solumnly. He had never met Tumblepaw, meaning never spoken to him before, and now Tumblepaw seemed to be ready to meet him. Riflebird smiled gently, feeling as if he radiated happiness. It was a beautiful day indeed. His throat rumbled softly in a small purr of ameusment towards Tumblepaw's sarcasm. The he opened his mouth in a quiet, gentle reply.
"Hello Tumblepaw. You are bored?" Rifle paused, searching Tumblepaw's expression for a moment. He blinked in the sunlight, but still had that haze around his eyes, as if he had just gotten up from a nap or rest. Riflebird smiled again as an idea popped into his head. "Want to come hunting?"
Riflebird stood up gently, shaking softly and letting his fur settle calmly. It was a great day for hunting, the prey would find the lure of the sunlight inescapable and be lounging under the shelter of the trees for awhile, and especially around sunhigh. As the sun climbed higher into the sky, he figured it was about time to get into the forest. Hunting took a lot longer when he was suddenly a clan cat now, putting the welfare of the clan before his very life. But it was a pruod sacrifice too, and he knew that the chances of survival were raised in a group or clan. Riflebird turned his thoughts back to Tumblepaw now, waiting for an answer.
ooc: ps, Twigpaw is a girl, but no biggy. thought i would just point that out.

Destinycloud
"Go die some where, please." [/color] She wandered into the den, smelling like nature at it's purest. Like a fresh breeze, she carried her self with natural beauty. Her eyes looked over the entire den, looking for life. Her eyes settled on Tumblepaw and Riflebird, or Rifle.
"Flaring with life, her eyes opened to the dark"
"Hello Rifle and Tumblepaw, I heard you were board today." said Destinycloud. "May I join you in hunting?" With a small breeze, she twirled out near the center of the den.
"The freshest breeze, can never amount to you."
While she waited, she fliked her tail in a rythmic motion, and slowly lay down. Her green eyes, the color of leaves in greenleaf, shimmered in the soft light, and her silver fur, the color of the metal on a twoleg monster, flattend after laying down.
"Flying, never going to fall."

RIFLEBIRD
Rifle looked over as the arrival of another cat occured. This time, Destinycloud had come out of the den, her silver coloerd fur glinting nicely in the sunlight. She must have overheard the conversation that had started just outside the den, for she asked gently if she could join. No reason not to entered Riflebird's mind, so he nodded. "You are welcome to join us, if Tumblepaw agrees." Rifle ducked his head toward Tumblepaw, who had remained silent still, perhaps thinking it over. Riflebird didn't mind though, he was just happy to be basking in the sun and daylight of the day. His red fur was corse, and so a few quick licks wasted a few moments as he waited Tumblepaw's response.
ooc: sorry about shortness

Destinycloud Her Leaf-green eyes glinted, Destinycloud sweeped herself up. She gave Riflebird a soft look, but it also was impatiant also. Her silver fur ruffled in a soft breeze, and she licked it flat. She then flicked her tail towards the exit ou of the camp, and stared at Riflebird.
"Floating in the breeze, she fades away."
She paced at the entrance, almost floating, she could feel her aura glowing, and now could see it: a bright, pure silver. She ingnored it, and darted to the camp entrance, and Destinycloud swiftly laid down. She gazed at Riflebird grooming her red fur, that was sleek and handsome.

;; In a Clan, it was hard to escape any other clan member. There really was no where to run or hide, so you must endure any cat's company, whether you like them or not. Usually conversations are joined by other cats. This didnt bother Tumblepaw as much as it may bother another cat, but he didnt enjoy it. Really, he could care less about any cat, but what are is he going to do? Isolate himself from every cat. Most defiantly not.
;; Of course Tumblepaw wanted to go hunting! Although he prefers hunting alone, he knows he must be accompanied by a warrior until he becomes a warrior himself. So he though that one cat wont be too bad. It would give him a chance to get to know Riflebird more. But that's when Destinycloud came out. True, he was bored as heck. But does that really call for more cats to hunt with? He doesnt exactly think so! But Tumblepaw is not rude. And he really needed to stretch his muscles.
;; Tumblepaw silently sighed, and looked up with a friendly gaze. "I would love to hunt. Of course i wouldnt mind if Destinycloud joined us!" He hoped his lie would not be seen by the two warriors. If so he prayed to Starclan for a chance to explain himself if they did see through him. He motioned toward the camp entrance. "But i would really like to get moving quick, we dont need any more joining us on this trip." He rolled his eyes, though, at Destinycloud's too-soon impatience, since she hadnt even been told if she could come or not. She-cats were so weird sometimes!

RIFLEBIRD
The red tom looked up as Tumblepaw spoke. At the edge of his voice, Riflebird sensed Tumblepaw's exasperation. Perhaps he had wanted to hunt more in solitude... Riflebird flicked his tail. Why any cat would prefer solitude to the support of a clan was beyond him. Especially since he had spent most of his life in search of a family-like clan to hepl support him and his new child, Twigpaw. She was coming along. Riflebird smiled gently to himself and stood up calmly, padding over to the clan camp enterance.
"Yes. Three warriors is quite enough for hunting. And we can travel faster." Riflebird said to the apprentice as they padded toward Destinycloud, who he hoped had heard Tumblepaw's acceptance statement. Riflebird's whiskers twitched as he looked at the barrier at the clan enterance again. It was something that had always baffled him. Why put a barricade around the camp? What if we all had to leave at once? The barricade only lets one cat through at a time... Riflebird shrugged off his confusion and padded forward, stepping through the clan enterance and hoping the others were following.
