cirruscloud !!
It was a beautiful day, and the weather was perfect for hunting. The skies were dyed an extravagent blue while the sun's rays provided just enough warmth to keep any cat warm during Early Bare-Leaf. It hasn't snowed yet, which was a good thing. If it did, all the prey may hide in their burrows no where to be seen.[/blockquote]
Cirruscloud shook her pelt free of the debris that gathered on it as she pranced on the moor. Her snow-white pelt slowly began to appear. Mouse-dung, she thought, Shouldn't have done that! Now all the rabbits will see me! Then she let out a meow of laughter, saying "Oh well! Maybe they'll think I'm a rabbit myself!" Then she fluffed out her tail and began to run forward, scenting the air as she did and letting her tail bob along behind her.
It took a while, but soon she whiffed in a familiar scent. She felt her mouth fill with drool as she reconised it to be the scent of prey and quickly looked around. In gentle pawsteps, she tracked the rabbit and stalked it for a while, trying to see the best way to hunt it down.
Feeling her blood pulsing and her muscles tense, instinct came and she dashed out into the wide open. Ambush! Cirruscloud thought. Just to see if her plan worked however, she started hopping and to her amusement, the bunny looked at her and cocked its head. Mouse-brain! she giggled in her mind, and then quickly hopped in rapid motion toward it, hoping that the rabbit wouldn't notice.
Of course, to her dismay, it did and then ran off. "Fox-dung!" she spat, and then bolted after it, leaving her pawprints hidden by the dust cloud that formed behind her.
