Cold Moonlight....

Tigerflame gazed out at the cold, blue water and shivered. He really wasn't cold most of the time, but why now? "It must be the moonlight." thought Tigerflame, but he chased the thought away. His sleek cream coat glistend in the feint light, and he dipped his webbed paw into the cool water. He pushed of the edge and into the water with grace. His long black legs pushed him though the water eaisly. He lept up and out of the water, and shook his fur dry. A flash of thoughts about his father, Lightningtree darted in his head. He shook his head to get rid of them, and he dived into the water. Suddenly he heard a cat coming....

Snowfeather's pale blue eyes flickered around the dark area. The cool breeze combed through her pelt, and the moon lit her path. She didnt really know where she was headed. She wasn't even looking ahead of herself. She was staring at the twinkling stars. Soon, however, she could hear the water running smoothly over the rocks, and smell the damp but beauitful scent of the river. Along the smell of another Riverclan cat. 'Tigerflame' She grimaced, 'Too bad, i wanted to be alone..' Yet she knew he could probably hear her coming, what with her clumsy path of destruction and all. She could hear her own paws cracking twigs and dragging through the brush.

Snowfeather gracefully slipped through the bushes, and ignored Tigerflame. Well, she still nodded at him. She blinked at him, her snowy white pelt shining bright, and her pale eyes staring at the cat's wet pelt. 'looks like he got to the water before me' She smiled at him breifly, and turned to slip into the gentle water. The water fingered it's way through her pelt, sending a peaceful, gentle, and happy feeling up Snowfeather's body. This is what she loved the most, moonlight beaming down on her, swimming in cool black water, and the stars twinkling down onto the surface of the water. Leaves floated on the surface. Reds, browns, yellows, even some very rare greens. She hit these with her paws gently, floating near the middle of the river. She turned to her company, realizing that she was being quite rude. "Well, are you going to join me, or not? The water is quite nice." She smiled and chuckled lightly. But he was ahead of her, he had dived into the water without her even noticing. 'That was quick' She looked at him lightly. Playfully, she splashed him with water, by kicking her back legs above water.

ooc: i wrote the whole post without realizing that he had dove into the water, so sorry if it sounds weird.

Tigerflame dived into the rivers dark dephs, to a rocky, air-filled cave, where he laid, watching as the ripped water turned into dark sea glass again. His claws still unsheathed, he traced a pattern in the thin rock, waiting for sleep to come, or for Snowfeather to come down and discover where he was. Falconrace, his sister, as reported by Froststar had died, and so had Hawkpool, his only living relitives dead. Sighing, he put his head on his paws and waited.
