I sort of began to cram the c-box with my opinion about Obama and McCain so I decided to make a this subject so that the c-box didn't get spammed on and that people get to express their views more fully.
But just remember to respect everybody's opinion and to not be rude to anybody.
So yeah, let's continue our chat in the c-box!
I said that I think that McCain appointed Sarah Palin as his vice president so he could have an entity advantage: Obama was black, and Palin was a woman. Black people are stereotyped to vote for Obama, and women are stereotyped to vote for McCain, because of Palin.
Do you agree?

Oh! Now that I think about it, that did seem to be a choice to consider for McCain. But I don't know... I mean, having a woman in the house is a really cool neat thing, but I think "the better president" factor is more important then whether or not if you want an african american for a president or a woman for president. Well, I mean hurray for you if you do support it (I support a woman in the house, but just not like Palin as much. ^^; BUT don't take it the wrong way! It's not that I don't like her, I just don't think she'd be the best choice) 'cause it's really neat, but the "better president" factor should hold you up first.
I voted for Obama because McCain was too much like Bush, which isn't so much of a bad thing--I think the economic crisis is more important than oil or the wars. I still want the US to prove that their strong and can win wars, but I don't want the soldiers and the villagers who lives in the battlezones to get hurt or die. I think fighting for oil is a stupid reason. Why can't we just like BUY it instead? I'm pretty sure someone can say "it's more complicated than that" to me, cause I really don't know much about it. xD I know my ideas are simple, but really why not? Lives practically PWN money/gas prices or whatever.
But the reason I think the economic crisis is more important is because there are so much unhappiness caused by it. Like "joe the plummer" (although I'm pretty sure he's filthy rich by now with the fame and commercials and all. xD). Of course, the LIVES in the battle are MUCH MUCH MUCH more important--but what I want is to TAKE IT OUT, take out the war there and just like buy the oil instead (okay, if I find out the war ISN'T about oil... oh boy XDDD Already I'm not feeling so sure. x)) . . . which um, clears out the war problem? And instead of wars, security/healthcare should be raised! LIVES ARE IMPORTANT PEOPLE. Security instead of wars, because after we take out the wars, maybe they want to start a war on us. Uh-oh. Well, I don't want a war in my backyard. Or people getting hurt. And healthcare is a major duh. xD
Ohhhohoho crap, I think I talked too much. xDDD And overused my favorite smily: xD xDDDDDDD

Oh my; I dont like talking about my opinion because honestly, i think we are screwed anyways. You both have very valid points. There were so many things to consider in this campaign. I was quite surprised to see Obama win by so much. After hearing my parents arguments on who should win, I sided with them and went for Mcain. Personaly i dont like Obama. Not because he black or anything. It bothers me tha the ahsnt made good friendships with other world leaders, like Mcain. He isnt as experienced and of course there was the muslim rumor. A lot of people hate him, and if you ask me his death possiabilty is at the same level as Mcain. I really really hate Jo Biden. Dont get me started on that. Sarah isnt THAT BAD. People just hated her because she was a woman and was getting all the attention. I admit she had a very annoying voice
woops, that was, eh, long. Anyways, i think all we can do now is prsy to god Obama does the right things

I just want to say one thing please no one take offense to this. McCain is ok but Sarah Palin is just downright stupid, honestly she is. I can't vote but if I did I would have voted for Obama mainly agreeing with Moony. Also why is McCain is old and if he dies [not wanting him too] and Sarah Palin becomes president This world would go nuts. Like I would leave USA for a bit probably . Just saying this because its my opinion so yep! =]

Haii I am Foxxie. Nice to meet you all. -shakes hands- Sorry for being so inactive.
ANYWAYS...that isn't important, the important thing is I get some of my ideas down. And I dislike them both, I just dislike Obama more. Alright. For MacCain, I rather chose him because he has served the United States with his life. His own blood was packed on a war. That shows he is loyalty to United States. Although he is too wishy washy. He always keeps too many promises. And the "My friends." is old. Palin..she is a witch. xD I dislike her a lot. She just a stuck up woman. Everyone has every right to hate her. MacCain also doesn't want to back down from the Muslim. This shows that our country can handle things even if they have an obstacle in front of their eyes. He always said he was going to lower the gas taxes and have a good education. That right there is a win, because too many people are in need of money. And if he wants to do something, he goes for it! He may say too many things, but he is determine to do something, he will go for it!
I do agree with the part of economic is really important. But I mean, what happens if we back down to the Muslims and they think we are backing down because we "fear" them. They might try to bomb us. Obama, I don't like him because he is half black. I don't like him because he came president for the wrong reasons. He seems more like a celebrity then a president. And you there is people who don't like black people? Well he has friends that are black and hate white people. His wife said, "I am PROUD to be an AMERICAN." just because he was going to be president. You don't just say that because your husband is going to be president. No way! You are proud to be an American for no matter what. It isn't something to say just like that. And I dunno. You know sometimes you have this feeling that something is going to go wrong? Well, I have this feeling that Obama is going to be America in very bad dark days. I dunno it just me. I might just say that because I dislike him much, but whatever. -shrugs- Obama is just a stupid little celebrity that won everyone's heart because they didn't want to vote for another Bush seed. Seed = MacCain. I think Obama does have some good ideas, but I dunno..it just feels all so wrong. Globe Warming is just a cycle for the earth. There isn't much you can do. You can't stop it, you can't fix it. All you can do is maybe find solutions to help the polar bears and penguins, but that is about it. You can't just tell the EARTH to STOP what IT is DOING. It is doing its job, cycling all the wastes. His ideas are good, but just in the wrong place. That is my opinion. And I probably have more to say..but nah. I will just stop it here. =3
And I just used only two smileys in this huge thing. o.o that is amazing. This one doesn't count. xD Not that one either. [/sub]

Ooh, this really is interesting. xD Lol, Moon. x] But I don't think we're screwed... we had lots of interesting candidates (not just Obama and McCain but like Hilary and others) but they weren't really that bad either. c: And so I don't think it'll affect me or you that much--ooh! Did you guys know that in the next election, I can't vote by like couple of months? (Ahh, never mind. I have to wait for my citizenship which is like 1 year later--but this guy has it worse:) xD There's this poor guy in our class whose birthday's on election day, but can't vote because you have to sign up like a month before. xDDD
In school, we took this test about which candidate agrees with that sort of laws and so vice versa with the other one, I agreed with Obama most of the time, which was one of the reason why I voted for him in our school-mock election.
