Uhh, heres a pic of a cat I drew, and would like critque on. I am so used to drawing horses, I haven't been the greatest in everything else, so I'm working on cats right now. More will hopefully be posted. Eventually. But for now please give me your opinion on this one. Don't be afraid to be rough on me, I want nothing but to improve. =) (Sorry, its on graph paper, I started out just scetching and scribbling ^.^)

I think the cat is amazing. It looks super realistic and you managed to detail very tiny details that make it even more pragmatic. Specially the shadows, which give a very good 3D effect.
However, I would suggest that you try to put the eyes more close together because they look too far apart. Just a tiny bit. I put the picture in Photo Plus and I try moving his left eye more or less 0.90 cm to the right. Maybe you can try doing that and it could look better.
Overall, really cool picture =) I hope you can post more pictures, it's fun to check them out ^^ |

Great job Skip! I agree with the eyes but not everything is perfect. I have such a hard time drawing cats to I'm so used to horses.

Mmhm! Thanks Winter & Blank. I was thinking that too after a while of looking at it. I'll try working on the eyes.
I am having trouble drawing anything other then horses to Blank. XD Well, practice makes perfect. I'll make some more pics and post them (they won't all be cats XP)

You did a great job on the picture of the horse and cat. I just love how you drew the cat with the shadowing; but I also agree with Winter about the eyes.

I get to go be my baby Quins groom for his show this weekend!! I can't wait to see him! For those of you who don't know {anyone besides Blank XD} he is a Thoroughbred off the track and he's 6 years old. Heres some piccys.
