Rump held high, the young, gray, shecat stalked towards the long grass. Her prey was unseen, but she knew its exact location. Tiny squeaks and shuffles told her the species as her scent glands told her the gender, size, and age. A plump adult she-field mouse. The shecats mouth watered as her tail twitched slightly in antiipation. Her claws kneaded the ground as she waited for the perfect moment... A lightning fast dash forward with perfect timing made the kill a success. The shecat dropped the plump mouse in front of her but she hestitated before eating. She looked up to the skies and gave a mournful howl. "Oh mother and father, I wish you were here with me to see how much of a successful hunter I have become! Please, return to me if you can!" with that, she bent over to feed. The shecat tensed as a new scent reached her glands. The scent was unfamiliar, not of any cat or prey she had ever come across. She could not distinguish any of the characteristics she needed to judge whether to fight or run. She simply lifted her head and scanned the forest around her, her eyes hard and demanding. She didn't speak a word and she didn't move a muscle. No fear scent flodded from her as she stood, and waited.

Breeze padded along enjoying the sun, which warmed up her short tabby fur. her light pelt held darker swirls deep within, and radiated her body temperature quite evenly. which was better than being all black, and overheated. it was worm this day, with tons of breeze. she now walked across a plain silently, her eyes searching for anything. what else is out here, other than grass?
it was the first time Breeze had entered a true territory of the mob cats. and this particular section of the greater mob smelt more of rabbits than anything. and oh, how she did love rabbits. she had taken her day slower that other days, with only a swallow earlier. and she was set for the day. her long pistons felt full of energy as her stout bodice jumped into action. strides as long as she could make them, Breeze flew down the hill and climbed up the next one with awesome speed. and then, she slowed, finally walking up the bottom of a hill. a sudden smell had halted her joy in tearing across plains, a sudden smell of another cat. a female, and a full one too; as the gentle smell of the blood of a field-mouse reached her sniffer as well.
now what? do i just stroll up and ask about the weather? she hadn't seen another cat in awhile, yet had never quite forgotten the rules of politeness. and now she was in full view of the she-cat, as herself was in full view of the other. the recently-feasting she-cat was a grey tabby, like herself. if Breeze could be considered 'normal' in tabby coloring. she was so full of strange markings, she sometimes wondered what other cats thought of her outward apperance. not that it really mattered, but it was an intruiging matter. the she-cat stood, fierce and proud. no fear scent flooded from her bodice, and she watche3d Breeze approach with hard eyes. Breeze quickly closed the gap between the two of them and halted a respectful distance away from the mob cat. her haunches folded quite easily, as she was used to using them for more than just walking and sitting. but that was another matter.
"Greetings..." gentle vocals pushed through the loner's layrnx. "I am known as Breeze, a loner to your kind." the lightly-hued femme stated plainly.
there. all formalities for me are closed. this she-cat smells so much of other cats, no wonder she stares at me like I'm not a cat. and it was true, BReeze probably smelled more of bager and berries than cat. uinderneath all the other scents she had aquired, her unmistakeable cat scent still remained. but Breeze never smelt herself. how would she know? oh well. i do hope this she-cat is friendly. the one's that are over-protective do get quite annoying after awhile. and so Breeze sat, her mismatched, green and hazel eyes watching the young, grey she-cat for a response.
