occ: xD I was wondering that too! Perhaps we should go from board-to-board in case this thread becomes too long?
Silverripple shook off the last droplets of water clinging to her fur. As she peeked a look at Breeze, she saw that the she-cat was shaking her head uncomfortably and regretfully. Regretfully. Silverripple tensed alittle. Was Breeze regretting how she had agreed to take her to Cirruscloud? Silverripple didn't want to hurt Breeze's feelings, so she thought for awhile.
Perhaps I should talk more of my childhood? Silverripple pushed that thought out. No, she felt all too uncomfortable to talk about the loss of her siblings. However...I can talk about my adventures. Me and Cirruscloud's as well. I can sense that Breeze seems to be a little curious...I guess I'll speak of my past alittle.
The twelve-moon silver she-cat turned to face Breeze in the eye. "Would you like me to speak of my adventures?" she mewed calmly but in an exciting way. She didn't let Breeze get a chance to reply when she continued. This was a habit. "Well, let's see...hmm...where should I start?"
As they walked and talked Silverripple became more and more comfortable of speaking of her adventures with Cirruscloud, and even began talking of her mother and brother. "The badger clawed him in the eye - BAM! - and he went blind! He fought couragously, but unfortunently, it wasn't enough. Bladeleaf fell there and we dragged him away from the badger to safety. We buried him there, right next to that big twoleg place.
"Oh! And then there was the time when me and Cirruscloud broke into a twoleg home. The twolegs were quite fond of us and gave us food. They also had a dog, in which they locked in a cage of our arrival. Luckily, they didn't give us the hard pebble-shaped stones like other twolegs. Instead, they gave us warm - it tasted pretty good warm, actually! - fish and some milk. We left the twoleg nest, bellies full and with the dog locked up and jealous. Why, isn't that amusing!"
On and on she went, but she still never spoke of the separation of her and Cirruscloud. Nope. She wasn't ready to tell Breeze about that yet.
