finally. a place to rest soundly. the morning light shone on the waters quite faintly, for now. the water itself was as still and pure as glass, with only Breeze's soft, thin whiskers intrupting the eerie stillness. the winds blew the small cats fur arond her bodice harshly, almost threateneing to rip the hairs from the she-cats pelt alltogether. not that she minded.
standing up fully, the loner blinked in the morning winds as the sun rose from its break over the skys. her head tilted backward as she stared at the clouds that rolled in, puffy and white. she felt as though she had pushed them there. she felt as though she should move along. after all, Bloodclaw had told her to move eastward to meet more mob cats. er, clan cats. i see no difference.
pausing, Breeze stared at the opposite borderline of trees. she felt watched. unjustly watched. unrightly watched. and so her mismatched eyes stared down the treeline as she waited. if it was a mob cat, no doubt the blundering fool would show himself within a moment. not that mob cats were clumsy, so to speak, but they did have a sense of... oh, bull-headedness about them. not a bad thing, but not a wise thing either.
I am not here to harm. You may trust me.
trust. a mere strand. a fools hope for friends. but its what bonds these cats. might as well try it. for a loner lives a life of deception, a life of, not creul but cunning trickery. its all about survival and watching out for your own skin, is it not?
ooc: Breeze finds herself here after being rejected from viewing shadowclan homeland. she knows a little of mob cat life, but not enough to live it. just clearing things up a bit.
