finally. a place to rest soundly. the morning light shone on the waters quite faintly, for now. the water itself was as still and pure as glass, with only Breeze's soft, thin whiskers intrupting the eerie stillness. the winds blew the small cats fur arond her bodice harshly, almost threateneing to rip the hairs from the she-cats pelt alltogether. not that she minded. standing up fully, the loner blinked in the morning winds as the sun rose from its break over the skys. her head tilted backward as she stared at the clouds that rolled in, puffy and white. she felt as though she had pushed them there. she felt as though she should move along. after all, Bloodclaw had told her to move eastward to meet more mob cats. er, clan cats. i see no difference.pausing, Breeze stared at the opposite borderline of trees. she felt watched. unjustly watched. unrightly watched. and so her mismatched eyes stared down the treeline as she waited. if it was a mob cat, no doubt the blundering fool would show himself within a moment. not that mob cats were clumsy, so to speak, but they did have a sense of... oh, bull-headedness about them. not a bad thing, but not a wise thing either. I am not here to harm. You may trust me.trust. a mere strand. a fools hope for friends. but its what bonds these cats. might as well try it. for a loner lives a life of deception, a life of, not creul but cunning trickery. its all about survival and watching out for your own skin, is it not? ooc: Breeze finds herself here after being rejected from viewing shadowclan homeland. she knows a little of mob cat life, but not enough to live it. just clearing things up a bit.

F R O S T S T A R Believe in what you see, for you may be the only one to see it...
Deep blue eyes scanned the clearing. Unsheathed claws played at the grass underneath the black-pink pawpads of the ThunderClan leader. With a single swipe of her long, silver tail, Froststar crouched low. She was unseen to the loner that she could see herself, as she was tucked up in the gentle green, leafy branches of some sort of shrub. Her lean muscles rippled under her soft silver coat. Watching the cat's actions, Froststar slunk round, so she was downwind - the cat couldn't possibly be able to scent her from this direction. The ThunderClan leader was curious, her eyes were narrowed. If this loner thought she could just saunter into ThunderClan territory, she was terribly wrong.
Froststar made up her mind, and stood to her full height, long, lean legs and a long, graceful tail. Silver fur covered her slim body, and her deep blue eyes glowed. 'What are you doing here?' Froststar gave a warning growl, stalking up to the trespasser. Her tail was high, showing that it was her territory.

'What are you doing here?
the white seh-cat stalked out of the trees and into Breeze's face. the two of them watched each other silently for a moment. the white she-cat held her tail tall and proud above her, indication ownership. ownership of the land? now one can own land... these silly mob cats don't get that, do they? Breeze smiled, and sat back down slowly, proudly, defiently. The she-cat had demended a question from her and an answer she would get. not the best way to start off a morning, either.
Well, I was sleeping. Now I am calmly waking up. May I inquire as to who you are and what you are doing here?
Breeze already had an idea. This defensive she-cat was probably the head of... oh what did Bloodclaw call them? Thunder mob? No, they called themselves Tunderclan... there are four different clans. Breeze shook her head quickly. What strange thigns these cats did. But now was not the time to compare her loner life and this mob cat's life. Quickly, Breeze looked over the angry white she-cat. She was long and lanky, with wider paws and thiker whiskers. Breeze herself was more compact, with shorter, more thiner features. Her brown coat held many shade and looked like a mud puddle compared to the bright white on this cats hide. But Breeze paid no mind to colorings, as she was far less likely to be seen in the forest than the other femme.
Teh two of them stared at each other, the crystal blue eyes of the other matched with the green and hazel eyes of herself as the two stared each other down. Breeze waited for the she-cat to respond.

Silverripple dashed into the scene. She had a way of doing that whenever she had a feeling of a fight coming up. Her silver pelt shone under the sun as she swiftly padded towards Breeze.
"Hello there. You may call me Silverripple. Now what is this we have here? A fight, maybe?" she stated calmly between the two cats. She was sure that the other silver cat's temper was rising. Her claws were unsheathed, so Silverripple unsheathed her's too.
Silverripple wondered whether this was the place where the clans lived. Is Cirruscloud here too?

"Hello there. You may call me Silverripple. Now what is this we have here? A fight, maybe?"
Another she-cat found her way to Breeze's spot. This one was silver in color... and her name sounded so familiar. She certainly did look familiar...
"I am Breeze. And no, no fight has ensued yet." Breeze paused, with a look toward the other white she-cat, with her claws unsheathed. Turning back her focus on Silverripple, she studied her, quickly and thoroughly. She was so light, and had a sort of... upbeat, undying personality. Like who?
"You seem familiar... have we met each other before?"

"I am Breeze, and no fight has ensued yet."
Silverripple grunted in disappointment. She was hoping of using her fighting skills before they wear off again after many moons of wondering.
"You seem familiar...have we met each other before?"
The silver she-cat widened her eyes in surprise. Why, this was the first cat to ever mention anything like that to her! Surely she wasn't in the she-cat's dreams anyhow? Well, there was her sister, who looked identical to her other than their pelt color...did this cat - Breeze - met her long lost sister before? She was sure she did find a cat like Cirruscloud and Breeze around a lake near Windclan before she ran off to here, but still....
Silverripple cleared her throat and mewed calmly, as usual, "You do know a white cat - going by the name of Cirruscloud - don't you?" Her voice was the exact copy of her sisters, but with a huge difference in tone. Her's was kind of ... sad and depressed, and somewhat hopeful while Cirruscloud's was often happy and jolly.

"You do know a white cat - going by the name of Cirruscloud - don't you?"
Breeze paused, her vocals pushing to escape the dark confines of her larnyx. But she held back, tense in just the slightest of ways. Trying not to show so, she eyed the new silver cat quickly. Say something, you bloke. She'll start to expect something...
"I might, I might not. What do you call yourself?"
Breeze stated. Her voice was filled with an almost pleading urgency. This cat looked so familiar, and yet something just didn't hook up between her and Cirruscloud... at least not yet in Breeze's mind. They looked so much alike, their voice tones were even the same. But this cat... this cat spoke with so much more sadness. So much more regret. So much more experience.

Silverripple lashed her tail in frustration. She can feel her temper heating up again. Questions are to be asked, and to be answered. Did this cat have a problem with that? All the pale brown tabby had to do is to meow a simple yes or no, but noo....she fired another question at Silverripple! She wasn't used to having asked a question and not being answered, because everything has a purpose - and a question should have an answer, or it's not a question at all. Even more, she refused to answer it with a 'I might, or might not' and that Breeze asked her what she calls herself! Tshht! She already answered that just awhile ago by saying, 'You may call me Silverripple.' Isn't saying someone could call you something mean that's what you call yourself? Cat's these days!
But Silverripple still retained her calmness, with a obvious hint of annoyance in her tone. "I've already answered your question. I'm Silverripple, a loner if you havn't noticed already. And if before you ask me to join one of your mobs of cats - clans, if that's what you like to call it - no. I like my freedom, thank you, and I'm not changing my ways from a kit to adult." Then she added, forcing herself to sheath her claws, "And I've been searching for a pure white she-cat - my sister - named Cirruscloud, if you didn't listen, and -" Suddenly, Silverripple unsheathed her claws once again, "I demand a exact answer! Yes or no? No mights, maybes or might-nots." The silver cat sat down quietly, muttering to herself. "Now if I do remember clearly, I'm sure Cirruscloud was near this big lake with that Breeze before...I'm pretty sure it was her....no doubt about that...."

Breeze sat, staring blankly at the mood-swinging Silverripple. Someone's moody. Its early morning still. Give me a break. And I am not a mob cat either. Breeze remined sitting, holding in her temper, with her ears flicking back and fourth as she listened to the drowning, growingly angry voice of Silverripple.
"Hold up there. I am not a mob cat, I live proudly as a loner. My information is my information. I'd be happy to share it with anyone who can hold in their temper long enough for me to think."
Breeze paused, letting hr small flash of anger flow away. She has been frozen to the spot in which she sat, but now she lazily flicked her tail up. She hated meeting other loners for this reason and this reason alone - their so aggrivated over the smallest of things. Breeze stared at Silverripple, decided whether she wanted to confirm that she knew Cirruscloud or not. If she didn't this cat looked about ready to go crazy. But Breeze felt bored today and arguing took so much energy. Opening her jaws, she said one last thing.
"If you can show me that your anger will not be a problem, perhaps I can assist you to where I might have seen a white she-cat before."
Breeze stood then, stretching her legs in the slowly rising sun's light. Her pelt was rather short, so she was thankful that the sun was not blocked by any trees or such. At least where she stood then. Watching Silverripple, she awaited a responce.

Silverripple blinked. Most loners wouldn't provide her assistance without giving up some fresh kill to them.
She flattened her ears and looked to the ground. "Sorry. Would you help? Sometimes I just can't help but get angry all of a sudden. It's my nature." she mewed silently. She shifted her paws and turned around. There were many noticable scars all over her body. "So, shall we go? I must see this she-cat you're talking about, whether she's my sister or not."
The scarred loner then flicked her tail, showing she's eagerly awaiting Breeze to lead her.

Breeze smiled and nodded. She hated when cats overreacted, and was glad tht they could sort out the differences between the two of them so quickly. Breeze flicked her tail and turned, walking up to the river and placing a paw in, testing the temperature.
"Allright then. We will have to swim across, but, if I remember correctly, the rest of the way is dry land."
Breeze smiled, then turned back to the river. IT wasn't flowing relativly hard at all, just inching along. She walked in slowly and bagan to make her way across to the other side. The current seemed to barely push her at all as she cliimbed out of the water, shaking of the excess water easily as her coat was rather short nowadays. Twitching out her ears, she turned to watch the other she-cat and assist if she was needed. Water was not her favorite thing, but she wasn't that bad of a swimmer, and could stay against a current if needed.

"Alright, but we have to swim across, but if I remember correctly, the rest of the way is dry land."
Silverripple mewed in agreement, while Breeze smiled and nodded. She padded out toward the way Breeze was going, and swam as well as a River - what was it? - Clan cat. She was named 'ripple' by her mother after Galefur (her mom) finished training her because of her love to swim and the ripples she created while she plunged into the pool. Silverripple did just the same here, and swam strongly against the current without struggle. She would keep her temper for as long as she needed for her to find Cirruslcoud. She trusts that Breeze, and she will follow her however long it takes.

Breeze smiled as Silverripple pulled herself out of the river. She was quite strong a swimmer, and seemd to enjoy it. Unlike Breeze, who just enjoyed running, chasing, and climbing best. Smiling, she stepped foreward and continued in a rather lively walk, expecting Silverriple to follow. Perhpas she could find out more about their history.
"Nice day, is'nt it?"
Breeze loved peaceful mornings like these. It was a little before noon, when the day was at its hottest. Breeze thanked the breeze that played with her fur presently. The sun warmed her back and dryed the water off slowly.

[size=1"It's a nice day, isn't it?"
Silverripple nodded. She looked at the ripples of water she had made. "Me and Cirruscloud used to play together in the water." she mewed to Breeze. She then added amusingly, "But then, I've always enjoyed swimming much more than her. She would tell on our mother whenever I splashed her, and she would get in trouble instead for blaming me of a harmless action."
She lifted her head up, heavy from all the droplets clinging on to her fur. "So, shall we continue?" You can obviously see the eagerness in the cat's eyes.

"So, shall we continue?"
Breeze smiled. Cirruscloud semed like that type of cat. Talking of childhood reminded Breeze of hers. It was fun... at times... Breeze shook off the strange, unwelcome thought. My childhood is ver away now, and there's no chance of me going back.
They now walked along the lake's edge. It was in view, and the sun shimmered brightly upon the clear, relatively unmoving water. Breeze was now completely dry, and soaking up the rays happily.
ooc: do you want to literallly go board-to-board, or rp it all out on the windclan board?
