Wolfhowl leapt down beside Lilywhisker and looked around one last time. His blue eyes caught on something in the corner of the nest: a pair of blood red eyes glaring at him from the shadows. A tingle ran up Wolfhowl's spine and he padded quickly after Lilywhisker. When he heard the rats scrabbling behind him, he became nervous.
"Maybe we'd better hurry up and get the heck out of here!" He exclaimed, throwing a quick glance over his shoulder and seeing a few rats in the gap they had entered through.

Padding lightly, very lighly, Swiftfoot slowly approached the Abandoned Twoleg Nest, the dark aura it was giving off sending a shiver up Swiftfoot's slender spine. "Ohh, I hope the mice here are worth it," he mewed, his voice shaking like a nervous kit. When he cautiously padded through the door, his eyes glowed at the sight of a familiar face. "Wolfhowl!" he whispered, padding over to the blue-eyed tom.

the strangely marked femme walked along the path silently. it had been a boring day. nothing had happened in the morning, other than her eating a breakfast of swallow and vole. she was hungry today, but not much now. it was funny like that, her hunger. it always came at the most random of times, and sometimes it would feel like she hadn't eaten in days. and other times, all she wanted was a snack. one of her favorite side effects of being a loner. you do what you want to. and nobodyever thinks anything of it. because they are never around to see. it frees up everything. you dont have to make sure that another feline wants to do the things that you do, or is hungry when you are, or anything.[/i] at all. and so she walked along through the forest in complete, happy solitude. until the stinging stench of rats filled her nose. and she knew she had arrived at that place. old whats-his-name had told her about it along one of those accidental meetings between loners. he had warned her of an abandoned twoleg place, not to far from where they were then. their were tons of rats, he had reported, all bloodthirsty and looking like pure evil. but he had been an old cat after all. how bad can rats get? sure, their horrid smell and overbreding are annoying, but they are pretty weak when it comes to fighting. as long as your clever. if you just stand your ground, you surely end up dying, or coming close. and she had dealt with them before. but really, what poor sap alerted their attention in the first place? it was true, rats almost never attacked cats because they wanted to. they attacked them because they felt invaded or were so tired of eating each other that they needed fresh meat. but what loner would alert rats? no loner that she knew of would be so stupid. so maybe it wasn't a loner. maybe it was one of those mob cats. they did live in the wilderness. and yet, somehow, Breeze found it funny that they would be stupid enough to set off rats. hopefully their young or something and made a mistake. that's understandable.by this time, Breeze had increased her speed through the woods. not exactly running, but not exactly walking still either, she trotted through the undergrowth, sniffing the air. the almost overpowering stench of rats came immediately to her nose. but then came the scents of cats. two, after a little more brainpower was used. they smelt very much alike. one was a tom, the other a femme; like herself. but why would they be so far north-wards? she thought the mob cats would live deeper off in the wilderness. and not to far from the way she had come was a twoleg neighborhood. of course, if they never left their fabled territories, then they would never really know what lays beyond their lake. ___ a path suddenly came in to view, and in four big strides, she was following it. it led to the twoleg house. and suddenly her shoulders pushed foreword and she was running. the length of her strides increased, and the path opened up to the house. the femme's scent reached her nostrils, almost seeming to reach for her assistance. the other femme smelt of anxiety, worry, and deep down there, fear. and then she was in view. she was of darker hues, with random splotches of a light brown color. her stomach and undersides were a beautiful white, while her bright green eyes held anxiety as the fair she-cat tossed a look back over her shoulder. and then she called out the strangest thing. "Wolfhowl..."Wolfhowl? What kind of name is wolf-howl? how do you even say it? her mind almost froze up at this strange name. the apparent name of the tom in the twoleg house. it made her wonder what the she-cat called herself. But she kept running, halting in front of the femme quickly. she pulled up to her full height instantly, which really wasn't that tall. but the focus shown plainly on her face was, hopefully, enough. she was not to be taken as a joke if their lives were at stake. and it looks like that's the case. her mismatched pools, one of green, the other of hazel, stared at the cat questioningly; and somewhat accusingly. though what she was accusing the cat of, she really had no idea. perhaps setting off the rats. questioning, and somewhat harsh vocals jumped out of her mouth as she suddenly seemed to take charge of the situation. "What did you do in there? Who are you?" a flick of her ringed tail toward the twoleg house. the rats were coming, their eyes now visible. and as she looked around she saw another cat pop into the house. oh, dang it. what is it, get-killed-by-rat-day? Breeze paused watching the cat, then her mismatched pools flicked back to the cat she was waiting for her response from. we dont have much time here.ooc: ima sorry if some of the info here is inaccurate to what actually happening. first post on the sight and i had to choose to come in during a duo, and an action spot. im so wise XP anyway, if something dosn't match, i can change it. Swiftfoot's tail flicked anxiously as a new cat scent approached, filling his nostrils. Kittypet? No wait. This thing must be a rogue, or a loner! Swiftfoot drew himself to his full height and stalked over to the whatever-it-was. Enemy. That will do. "And just who do you think you are, barging in like that?" he demanded, green eyes flaring, white pelt bristling. How dare... Swiftfoot paused to scent her again. How dare she march in like that? Is she too mouse-brained to realize this is ThunderClan turf? She still hadn't replied. "Well?

Breeze halted. the cat had come back toward her and was now shouting at her like she was some sort of stupid fox. his vocals were loud, accusing and questioning all at once.
"And just who do you think you are, barging in like that? Well?
the tom was bristling with anger. his eyes were watching her closely. like one fatal move will kill them all. before we are about to be mauled over by rats anyway.
"I am Breeze, trying to save your pathetic life."
the rats were coming closer. their bodies scurried through the dirt, drawing closer and closer to the four felines standing in their way. its time to move. NOW. tossing a look over her shoulder.
"Is this some sort of well-planned fighting attempt, or are you trying to become rat food?"
the sarcasm in her voice was thick. the rats were swarming ever so much closer to the tom and herself. she waited his reply, watching the rats with anticipation.
