Froststar bounded up onto the highledge, the sun reflecting off her beautiful sky-blue pools. 'Let all cats who are old enough to catch their own prey join below the Highledge for a clan meeting!' The ThunderClan leader's voice rang through the hollow. 'Timberkit, it is time you were made an apprentice.' Froststar mewed once the clan had gathered. She bounded down the Highledge to meet him. 'Timberkit, from this day until you receive you warrior name, you will be known as Timberpaw. I ask StarClan to watch over you and guide you until you find in your paws the strength and courage of a warrior. I will be mentoring you myself, and I will do my best to teach you all that I know.' She touched noses with her new apprentice.

&&Harvestpaw[/i] Medicine cat apprentice[/size][/sub]
Harvestpaw smiled as she heard her leaders call. She was so bored in the medicine den watching her mentor being all weird, she was sure she had a vision. Harvestpaw sighed and walked out of the den to watch the ceremony. Cute little Timberkit was now a apprentice and known as Timberpaw, she sighed with a smile on her face, Harvestpaw loved watching these ceremonys. She smiled a big smile and started chanting Timberpaw's new name. Timberpaw! Timberpaw! Timberpaw! She started the chant hopping everyone would join in. One day Timberpaw will grow up and get a mate and maybe have a cute litter of babys. That was a path Harvestpaw could not follow, having mates and children was forbidden as a medicine cat.

Timberkit was astonished. No, more than that, he was shocked. He did not expect to become an apprentice this rapidly, specially not after living less than a month in the ThunderClan terrain. But he did not complain. He couldn't complain. How could he? This was more than he expected. He was now becoming somebody he'd never imagine he'd become. Of course, he dreamt about it most of the time, but he never thought it would be possible. However, now, his dream was finally coming true. He was about to become an apprentice, engraving his enrollment in ThunderClan.
As Froststar spoke his name, he headed for the massive boulder where his leader's supple outline was trasnluscent. His chest beamed in pride once Froststar pronounced his name with the delicacy and refinement that were so frequent in her. Timberkit's grin radiated from him once Froststar proclaimed his new name as an official ThunderClanner. And his new mentor, Froststar herself. Timberkit could not feel better.
The tom's batam-sized eyes glistened in pride and ecstacy when he felt his name wearing off. He was starting a new life and he could feel it. He was no longer Timberkit, the wretched and desolate soul, but Timberpaw, a new and refined being. He smiled at his new mentor and leader, Froststar, and left his old life behind him, grinning at the new life ahead.

Swiftfoot had just finished cleaning his white whiskers when he heard Froststar give out the familiar call. Running with all his speedy might, he ran towards the Highledge. When the white tom had got there, Timberkit had already been given his mentor! "Timberpaw! Timberpaw!" he yowled, bounding over to the newly made apprentice. Timberpaw's eyes glowed brightly, as if he had just realised all the joy in life, and was experiencing it all in hat one, single moment. The joy he must be feeling! Oh, I do wish he were my apprentice! Shaking his head free of these thoughts, he arrived at Timberpaw's nose. "Congratulations! Hae fun!" he mewed, wiggling his tail as if he were once again eperiencing his warrior ceremony. he memories were still vivid in his mind, his new name, the vigil...

Timberpaw was quite surprised by the reaction of his clanmates. Surprised, but pleased. He had expected the other ThunderClanners to treat him as badly as the other clans he had been in. He had to get used to the idea that, finally, he had been accepted in a clan. As strange as it sounds, it was often an overwhelming task for this little tom. However, this day, he felt nothing but bliss. His clanmates chanted his new name, trundling waves of euphoria in his tiny heart. His eyes were as wide and as extended as they could manage, trying to record this moment in his brain. Timberpaw had an excellent memory and could remember the most acute details of any moment in his mind. But this memory would prevail in bigger facet than the others he already had. The memory of finally being accepted.
Timberpaw strode down the boulder with all the elegance he had (if any though). Between the crowd, it was astounding how his diminutive eyes perceived the two gallant shapes of Harvestpaw and Swiftfoot, who seemed to be chanting higher than the rest. The apprentice's legs carried him to them both. Once he reached Swiftfoot, he began to feel self-concious. He wasn't sure of how to act or how to greet these two eminent ThunderClan figures: the Medicine Cat apprentice and a recognized warrior. Dubious, his head awkwardly bowed. Or attempted to bow. It looked as if he was flinching. It rapidly slanted back up again. He grinned at them both, his eyes darting nerviously past the two faces. His brain, in spite of its size and massive capacity, did not provide him with any answers. What to say? Timberpaw wondered, feeling uneasy.

Seeing the nervousness, yet eager excitement in Timberpaw's eyes. "You'll be great, I jealous that you're not my apprentice!" praised Swiftfoot, emerald eyes glittering. Of course, it was going to be a long time until Swiftfoot got an apprentice. But until then, the white warrior would wait in earnest. Now that he was satisfied he had greeting the new apprentice sufficiently the single-coloured tom padded away, wanting to go for a hunt.

Froststar leapt off the great rock, following her new apprentice. Her small gray-white paws made contact with the soily, moist earth. She had not been a mentor since she was deputy, and was looking forward to training Timberpaw to become a great warrior. But something wasn't right. As she looked at the young tom, she scented something that she didn't recognise. What could it be? Surely a new apprentice meant good fortune to the clan?
Shaking her head, the silver-furred ThunderClan leader padded up to Timberpaw, her tail behind her. 'Training starts tomorrow.' She told him swiftly, resting her tail on his shoulder. 'I'll take you to the apprentice den and find you somewhere to sleep.' She smiled. That kind, leaderly smile that could brighten up any cat's day with shining sunlight. 'Remember, you won't be sleeping in the nursery any more!'
